I know that the wwe isan orth american company first and foremost, so is normal to see the american hero at the top, and american football/basketball references, which at this point are very global so they are fine
But for the foreign users, which moments were terrible for how specific was to the american market? this question could go to north americans too when the wwe did shows in other countries.

When WWE were in I think England last year and they made a big deal about james corden's parents being there.
First off, who the hell is james corden?! and moreso why should I give a shit about his parents?!?

Many of JR's references would have probably been lost on other Americans, let alone foreigners. Goofy as a pet coon, a government mule etc.... ?

Most pop culture references on promos end up with people wondering who they're talking about. It's made worse when the Spanish announce team tries to explain the references as they're translating.

Probably the NASCAR guy. I don't know if that has like any pull outside of the US, and even here, it's regional.

Going back, Lawrence Taylor main eventing Wrestlemania, no one outside North America knew who he was, and this was in a time period the international market was really helping them out, so you'd think they'd take it into consideration more.

Most sports references. I'm sure most people on the other side of the pond don't get the MLB and NFL references to rivalries, jabs at home towns and player appearances any more than most Americans do when they do this with the Premier League in the UK.

MLB and NFL, I think we know some of the big teams, just from cultural osmosis, individual players, no clue outside 2 or 3 for both sports combined.

Anything involving college sports. May as well be a different language to me. It's not limited to WWE. I've seen plenty of American sports websites who include college sports in their biggest stories of the year lists along with the World Cup, Olympics etc....which I find completely ridiculous.

The biggest moment I've had like this was that episode where Mark Cuban guest hosted.
Legitimately had no idea who he was and by the episode came to the conclusion that he was an actor.

Nah, Tiger Woods was world level tier famous. I think the problem was that even them talking about Tiger Woods... unless your mind went immediately to him it didn't make any real sense... Though it was a pretty terrible segment in general.
