I'd read a bunch of reviews indicating that it was easily the worst in the series by far, so this thread caught me off-guard with all the positivity and praise. Thought the same due to reviews. Caught it on cable..it actually has its moments sprinkled throughout. Not great but has its bits here and there. Hemsworth and the little brother are the best parts. And the GPS. |

It's no where as good as the original and Christmas but much better than Vegas and Europ. I'll put it on par with Vegas. I really think European Vacation is just a notch under the original. Maybe it's because I seen European Vacation about 50 times when it first came out on cable. (And it had Eric Idle and Moon Zappa, which automatically takes it up to "watchable" status.) Edit: Christmas is the best one, IMO. |

Very underwhelming movie Chevy seems to have some type of illness. I think Vegas Vacation is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy underrated. They put a quarter in and got a car. Vegas Vacation was GOLD. You don't know when to quit, do ya Griswold? Here's an idea: Why don't you give me half the money you were gonna bet? Then, we'll go out back, I'll kick you in the nuts, and we'll call it a day! |
