Next week on BTS: April 12-18 1989 will be covered.

Listened to a bunch of these last week. They are very interesting. I skip the Amazon game, though. I don't give a shit.

Hope it isn't a compilation show, those are a waste of time.

The 100th episode of the Suzuka 8 Hours of podcasts is up and it's so big, it's an 2 part extravaganza, June 14th to the 20th of 1996 is covered! The WWF/WCW gimmick infringement lawsuit which ultimately would lead to WWF's infamous fake Razor and fake Diesel program which was done to prove WWF owned the gimmicks. Also covered: the last USWA show at the mid south Coliseum and a legendary PPv takes place in the form of the 1996 Great American Bash.

Can someone please explain what this is, who is involved and why we should listen? Its a podcast that looks back at the news through the dirt sheets of that week in a particular year. The hosts are Kris Zeller and David Bixenspan. They seem to have a good grasp of Japan, Lucha, and the territories so its a good listen Oh wait Bixenspan?! He's the guy who put that FOIA request in to the FCC to get WWE viewer complaints - one of the most amazing things I think I've ever posted to these forums - his involvement alone deserves a listen...

I'm not a big Kris Zellner fan or I'd listen. I followed the guy on Twitter and he just annoys the f*** out of me. Knowledgeable as hell, but not my cup of tea.
Does anyone know why Bix left the 605 Podcast? I used to listen sporadically and it always seemed like Brian Last was perpetually annoyed at him.

Does anyone know why Bix left the 605 Podcast? I used to listen sporadically and it always seemed like Brian Last was perpetually annoyed at him. Bix didn't have time to keep doing that show in addition to a million other shows and articles he has to regularly be working on. And Last wanted to take the show in another direction with rotating co-hosts. It worked out for everybody. And he has done occasional guest appearances during the time since.

Bix is slated to be on the next 6:05 episode. Brian has always plugged Bix's Deadspin articles on social media and Bix obviously still listens to the show.

The Year 2 Best Of Show should be coming soon, including Dave Prazak's story about former Memphis manager Ronnie Lottz (who I've met a few times, and his infamous bar as described by Dave I've visited a lot) - and likely also the late Chandler Biggins on how he knew the guy who ran over Stephanie McMahon's dog.

Just found me a new podcast to add to the list. Saw some of the shows are 5-6 hours long. How do people listen to that long of a podcast in a day's time

Just found me a new podcast to add to the list. Saw some of the shows are 5-6 hours long. How do people listen to that long of a podcast in a day's time 1) Speed it up, or, 2) Multitask, or, 3) Skip the Amazon game/Housekeeping bit (there's 45-50 minutes saved of them blowing themselves), or, 4) Just listen to the stuff that interests you. There's timestamps for that reason.

Does anyone know why Bix left the 605 Podcast? I used to listen sporadically and it always seemed like Brian Last was perpetually annoyed at him. Rumor is that Last was wAnting Bix to spend hours editing the 605 show. And Bix didn't think that much time needed to be spent on a podcast. Notice how when Bix was producing 605 came out on time. Now that Last is the producer we might get an episode every 2 weeks. Plus it felt like Bix didn't want a third of the show to be the Superuniverse top 10.
