I loved that they both sort of returned to sort of pass on the mantle to Tom and Erica in Smallville.
Specifically Teri Hatcher playing Lois's mother in smallville in an amazingly touching scene.

Fun fact, even though they never shared a scene together, Teri Hatcher and Lynda Carter's characters on Smallville were sisters.

Teri Hatcher will always be my favourite Lois Lane. It's cool to see Dean Cain as Supergirl's dad now. Would be cool if they brought in Teri Hatcher to do a guest spot much like they did for Dean Cain.

She's taken a recurring role on CBS The Odd Couple season 2 and 3*, I don't think she's be opposed to a fun cameo.
*yes, it's true, The Odd Couple remake will have 3 seasons.

For me it's the Superman equivalent of Batman '66. It's completely aware of how corny it is, and the charm of the lead actors make it impossible not to enjoy. The only thing I truly dislike about the series is the complete lack of actual Superman villains in favor of random people made up for the show. Lex was awesome, but done away with far too quickly. Aside from him, though? Where were Metallo, Braniac, Parasite, Toy Man, any of those f***ers?

Also Mister Mxyzptlk and The Prankster.

Bronson Pinchot also made several memorable appearances as the Prankster. And I can't believe we're two pages into this thread and nobodies mentioned Tempus yet. Might as well do this right then - One of my favorite episodes was from season four where Lois and Clark are traveling through past lives trying to stop a "curse on their love". It is so painfully obvious that the villain role in that story was written for Lex Luthor, but I guess John Shea wasn't available because they used Lane Davies as Tempus instead. It is so awkward and weird seeing them portray Tempus as Superman's greatest foe and watching those three do a love triangle.

I can see some people not liking this series on principal just because of what it caused to happen in comics.
Me...what I watched I liked, and let's just say I was at the right age for that version of Lois Lane.

I think it's lame now when I see it. But back in the day it was my favorite show. I was a huge fan of the Triangle Era Superman comics at the time, and there wasn't a whole lot of live action superhero stuff in general at that point. Also, this show was a big bonding thing for me and my dad. My dad isn't much of a superhero guy, but digs Superman. We watched it together every week.

Tempus was awesome I love his line "A world so boring you'd want to blow your own brains out...except there's NO guns"
