I am sticking with it for Tony. I always liked him and he seems like a great guy,

I love Starrcade '93 and was really excited when they announced they were doing it...
...then Casio Kid happens. Conrad needs to realize he's not funny. At all. The best part of the episode is when Tony calls him on the awards he's won and Casio Kid basically admits Conrad was full of shit and he hasn't won anything.
Casio Kid used to be (may still be?) on an Alabama radio show called "Rick & Bubba" which is basically two racist, homophobic morons making awful jokes. So Casio Kid learned it all honestly.
As far as sticking with the show, I am also sticking with it solely due to Tony. I think he genuinely tries with the show while Conrad treats it like an easy paycheck and nothing more. Why doesn't Conrad bring Casio Kid on Bruce or Eric's show? I'm guessing because they wouldn't put up with that shit.

I went to the live show today in Nashville and had a wonderful time. The guest was Bobby Eaton, who while reserved did get more comfortable as the show went on.
Tony and Conrad were both incredibly friendly and surprised to hear I came from Nebraska for the show (I also have friends in Nashville I had been meaning to visit for a while).
And I firmly agree on Casio Kid. Absolutely can't stand him. As I was waiting for the meet and greet before the show I heard his voice and got annoyed.

Holy shit. I'd never looked at a picture of Casio Kid before. He looks exactly how I pictured him in my mind.

I've been a fan of this podcast since it started, but it seems their watch-alongs have devolved into talking about there life/jokes and not much analysis or in-depth stories for that particular show. Same reason I've given of on Lapsed Fan. Eh, it's a little annoying. But you don't have the host reminding you after every joke that you're listening to lapsed fan. When they are on the ball they are good but when they decide to do little stupid shit they get really f***ing annoying and then I just start skipping ahead 20 mins at a time
Thankfully the World Class journey is them doing some of their best work which they tend to do on the journeys as it is more straight forward and something they can sink their teeth into
Also a sign i'm getting old is I get annoyed by all the cursing. I'm pretty sure I curse a lot during my day and hear a ton it outside thanks to living in the city but it seems like the word f*** is said every 5 mins and they scream it in your ear too

I just got into Lapsed Fan recently and I love it. I love "Lapsed Vince" and "Lapsed Fritz". I think the World Class stuff is outstanding.
As far as What Happened When, this week's episode is MUCH better. That Wendy's Chili joke was a 10/10.

Tony’s dig at Jamie Noble for living in a trailer park despite working in the wwe was uncalled for...I still laughed though.

I'm starting the Mania casts. It's going to take me forever to get through with all the other podcasts I listen to along with the current World Class ones, but I'm excited.

Haven’t listen since July I think. Casio Kid was on and just really annoying and complete killed the show for me. I’m considering listening to shows I missed. Which shows is the Idiot Kid on so I can avoid those?

Which shows is the Idiot Kid on so I can avoid those? The ones that immediately come to mind are the recent Starrcade '93 and Saturday Night episodes.

This week's episode on Sin is pretty good. The song at the end is pretty good... Until Tony's wife adds the cringe-inducing political bullshit. Why they kept that in, I have no idea.

It’s getting harder and harder to stick with this show. Conrad drives me nuts with his stupid jokes and constantly ribbing Tony. I know it’s a gimmick and all that, but it’s very annoying.

I haven't listened to WHW in ages - I think since the Schiavone wedding or not long after that. Seems I made the right decision based on what you guys are saying. It's a shame, because I like Tony and enjoyed it when they were still taking things somewhat seriously, but the comedy stuff just isn't my cup of tea at all.

It’s really disheartening at times with all the gross out comedy, to me it seems like Tony wants to do the show more straight. Unfortunately, Conrad veers it back to goofy comedy.

Stopped listening because I thought the show had been deteriorating for a while, especially because of the barrage of stupid jokes and non wrestling related content. Never understood why they had Casio Kid on. I think he's unfunny and downright annoying and after I heard one and a half episodes with him, I skipped everything he was on.
It's a shame, because I used to really enjoy the show and liked Tony better than Bruce.

I like the show a lot, but I have to approach it differently than STWW or 83 Weeks.
The fact is...Tony doesn't know much. He has bursts of really insightful information, but by and large, he seems like he was extremely disconnected from the place he worked, especially for someone who was some kind of producer.
To make up for that, Conrad has had to turn to bringing in his friends and/or turning the show into a more comedy oriented show with occassional bits of information. If left to his own devices, Tony would just watch shows and half-ass rerecord the commentary.
Casio isn't funny, but he also doesn"t really annoy me. He just doesn't add anything of value.

I think Tony carries the show now. Unlike Prichard and Bischoff, he's at least honest and you don't feel like you're being fed bullshit after hearing him talk. I also think it's really cool to hear how excited he is about all of this wrestling he has missed over the years. Tony just comes across as a decent person who admits his mistakes and will just flat-out say when he doesn't know anything instead of telling a lie about it. With Prichard I feel like I have to take 99.9% of the things he says with a grain of salt.
The show doesn't need Casio and it doesn't need Conrad forcing 9,000 dick jokes. Just let Tony be Tony.
I mean, the man uttered the show's best line on this week's episode when he said (about Scott Armstrong), "Well, yeah. f*** him and Bullet Bob, too."

Yes!!! Tony is HYSTERICAL and the best part of the show. When Conrad just lets him go, it's great.
