Honestly I quit listening to all of Conrad’s podcasts. I can’t stomach him anymore In all seriousness, what can’t you stand about him? He has his moments where he’s to much, but it doesn’t ruin it for me. Now that Tony works for AEW he seems to be more aware of what he’s saying as compared to no f’s to give Tony. The Arn podcast is a skip for me if it’s not a ask arn anything show. JR is usually a skip for me since he’s pretty boring. Eric’s show is different then all the other shows since he gives a different perspective than all other shows. Bruce is still Bruce and I actually think this is his place to vent after working his normal job.

Before AEW, he would've eventually done it after a few minutes of Conrad jabbing at him. LOL

Dude tries to come across as humble and "LOL I just sell mortgages!" Then he humble brags about his elevator in his house or other purchases he makes (bragging about pre-ordering the Tesla car comes to mind). Having said that, I still listen to WHW solely for the fact that he and Schiavone have perfect chemistry. It's just fun to hear them talk about things. I can't do the rest of Conrad's shows, which sucks because I f***ing love Arn Anderson.

Saw that today was another ECW show. Is it worth listening to because I saw it’s 3 hours as well?

Hell I still gotta listen to last weeks episode. I've lost the some of my enthusiasm for this podcast the last couple months. It's hard to put my finger as to way. One thing that doesn't help is they talk about AEW more and more every week. I get he works there and it makes sense to mention it but at times they go on and on about AEW. If I wanted to hear about AEW I would find a podcast on that. And the fact they got away from the Crockett and early WCW years ( what I grew up on ) and and seemingly do an ECW show every other week is getting tiring.

Which doesn't bother me all that much but I can see why it would turn some people off.

Why did they pick this random ass episode of Thunder to review today? Beetlejuice from Howard Stern was on it. The discussion about Lois’ big a$$ tiddies was fun. LOL Conrad also said they were going to do the Heroes of Wrestling PPV, although it might be a Patreon exclusive.

I wish cheap and small audio recording equipment had been around when I took my Grannie to Heroes of Wrestling. Was on the coast for a vacation. Cousin that worked at the casino calls me."Hey Gallos I just ran into REDACTED and he asked me where to get drugs. You coming to the PPV tonight at the casino?" Told him to get two tickets so I could take our Grandmother. During the main event she leans over and says to me "I think Jake might be on the drugs!" I laughed and told her "I think he has taken all the drugs in this state at once Grannie."

It was just so random of some crappy ass Thunder episode from 2000. 2000 was such an awful year for WCW anyhow.

Yet another ECW show this week. At least they will run out of those PPV’s soon.

So the show is changing.
They are apparently ditching the watch-along format and they're going to cover the entire year of 1986 of Crockett in 2021. I kinda like that idea, but I also think it might get stale after a while.
The way Conrad talked, it seemed as if this was going to be the last year of the show.

Yeah it made it sound like the end of the show....or at least with Westwood one. Maybe Westwood One is scaling back on the podcasts. Cumulus owns WW1 and I know they are going through some rough times right now, so cut the fat a little. But in regards to new format, it just sounds like it’s going to be a watch along but just of 86, week by week. I like the idea and will give it a chance. I mean really you don’t listen for the event, you listen for the bull shitting between the 2 of them

Yeah, they're not ditching the watch along format. They're just doing to do the entire year of the one company instead of bouncing around. Said there's 1 more year on the contract and just left the door open for who knows what. Conrad is a businessman. He knows that WWO may not want to renew or they may have a better offer elsewhere. Or Tony may quit the show for the umpteenth time. It's better to just be vague than make promises you're unsure of.

What this show needs is just a few more ads. Definitely not enough ads!

What this show needs is just a few more ads. Definitely not enough ads! I listen to Grilling J.R. sometimes at work(I never get around to Conrad's other shows), and while I like the show it feels like it's half advertisements. It's jarring how the ads just interrupt the show. At least when I used to listen to Jericho's show, he'd pitch to them so it seemed kinda natural. My favorite will always be how Cornette and his co-host do ads. They will segue into their ads and will do them as part of the show, and they always try to at least make the ad parts entertaining.

Conrad's shows were like this as well, but since Ad Free Shows started that has changed since I guess its easier to just copy ads in than to edit them out.
