Rafa needs to pound that backhand like every other match. He's giving Fed a lot of chances to use his forehand and he's hitting winners.

Federer goes up 4-1 on a shot tee'd up to his forehand. Rafa has to know Roger is too dangerous there.

Roger is about to win this 5th set with stunning ease.

Nadal breaks! If he can hold, we're going to a 5th set.

That game was great tennis and quite tight butthole times for Nadal fans. He eventually pulls it out with a shot the likes of which I don't think I've ever seen. Nadal up 4-1 in the 4th.

Nadal breaks to open the 5th. But Federer is up 30-15 to try and break back.

I have no idea what is going on, but I recognize and appreciate the talent and history here. I want Federer and Nadal to look like Roy Munson and Big Ern at the end of this.

Serena and Roger. Just dominated.
I am no tennis fan, but their talent is unparalleled. Bravo to both of them.

Serena and Roger. Just dominated. I am no tennis fan, but their talent is unparalleled. Bravo to both of them. Nadal and Djokovic are both near Federer's level all time. Maybe Djokovic will eventually be on his level one day if he keeps progressing. But neither of those guys wake up with 1/10th the tennis talent that Federer does. He's not just a ridiculous natural, but he makes elite level tennis look completely effortless. He's the LeBron James of tennis in that no one is his equal in terms of pure, god-given skill. Congrats to Fed for finally getting over the Nadal hump. Sucks for me as a Nadal fan, but he always plays his best in the big games and sets. He didn't tonight. He played significantly worse than in the Dimitrov match. His service games in the 5th were awful and his attempts at winners were almost non-existent. Federer outplayed him most of that match, but especially in the 5th set.
