You have the Bears pretty high. I like it. I like it too, my usual discussion board avatar is Da Bears logo, but I gotta say you are more optimistic than I am. I have watched every pre-season game and was not too impressed by most.

houston grabbing kubiak for a coach will is big. grabbing putzier, not so big, but he knows the old denver style of offense and will be a big help, grabbing ron dayne? he figured cause he won the heisman he was the first string back, and he didn't seem to notice that anyone can run in the denver offense. now he will have to fight for it. and he knows kubiak and his offensive style. so that isn't bad. grabbing two tackles in the third round? even if they are rookies they can't do worse than the line did last year.
Denver will once again beat the tar out of the afc west. Plummer will once again forget eveything he learned about not throwing interceptions once they get the playoffs though.
Da Bears.....easiest schedule in football? maybe. not having the quarterbacks compete for the the top spot? wtf? trying to jerk thomas jones around? wtf? can't seem to keep the DT's off the injured list.... and they think they will go to the superbowl? the only way this team goes is if they take care of their defense and let the drunk become the first string qb.

What mistakes did houston make? Just bcause they did not want bush? Yes. Despite Charlie Casserly's stupidity, I'm still a fan of the Houston Texans. As a Texan fan, be honest. You really think Mario Williams will translate to wins? Domanick Davis is hurt. We could really use Bush right about now. Save the crap that Morency and Wali Landry can carry the rushing load. I fear Eric Moulds will be just another Corey Bradford, but older. Still, I would not rank the team last in the league, that honor belongs to the 49ers. Semper Fi, Erik Majorwitz As another Texan fan, YES, I believe Mario CAN translate into wins. He doesn't make alot of tackles, but what he does do is take double teams so other players, like Antwaan Peek and the other LB's, can run through the holes and apply pressure. What he IS good at is making the players around him better, not just himself. I'm already sick and tired of the "We need Bush" crap. GET OVER IT. The draft was when? April? In case you didn't notice, the Texans had the no.1 rushing offense in the preseason, WITHOUT Davis. Yeah sure, it's just preseason, but having DD wouldn't have made a difference in the rushing offense. Eric Moulds hasn't even played a regular season game with the Texans yet......already calling him a Corey Bradford, give me a break. IMO, the Texans will finish with a better record than the Saints and Titans.

I can't stop griping about the Draft, we were fools not to get Carr some protection if we weren't going to nab his successor in Vince Young or Bush. Our running game is shot and an overweight Mo Vaughn, er I mean Ron Dayne isn't going to help all that much. Without a running game, Carr will get lit up again. Kudos for him not just walking away and saying screw this s***. I do agree with your last point, we will definitely be better than Saints, Titans, and also I believe the 49ers and Packers. I humbly disagree... Titans won't have a great year, but it will be better than the past two. We have already figured out Volek won't start, so we picked up Collins (don't know much about him) and Vince will pull through this year. I hope Chris Brown will get that Eddie George like run game as he is always compared to by Eddie himself.
