Remember when Hogan sued Gawker for over a million dollars?

Abyss easily could have been as big as Cena if he got rid of the mask, started wearing a tight fitting singlet and went back to his "Justice" gimmick he was doing when he first debuted in TNA.
Tel me that isn't a bonafide Main Eventer right there.

Here's a picture of Hulk Hogan lying. Could you imagine how many times he said "basically" while this picture was taken?

Straight up when Hogan arrived in TNA it should have been like this:
Top Faces:
- AJ Styles (Was champion at the time, was top face, audience loved him and WWE have proven he is obviously an A+ player)
- Jeff Hardy (Second biggest star in wrestling at the time. Could do many dream matches with him whilst AJ flourishes on top)
- Kurt Angle (Would start phasing him out in exchange for Jeff)
- Magnus (The third guy that they build up. Magnus was 24 at the time, handsome, in shape, a decent worker and with 2-3 years of being built in the background he could be headlining TNA today)
Top Heels:
- Desmond Wolfe (Young, good heel, feud between him and Magnus in the midcard seems obvious)
- Matt Morgan (Just like Magnus this is the guy you build up. Pair him up with Ric Flair to be his mouthpiece and do something similar to what Batista and Flair did in the WWE back in 2003-2004)
Mr. Anderson (He wasn't terrible at this point and plays a good heel. Him and AJ or him and Hardy could have been a fun feud)
---
MAYBE Abyss could have been the third string heel but he's no Cena. AJ or Hardy would have fit that role in 2010 a million times better. Just imagine how much better everything would have been with Hogan backing AJ instead of Abyss and Flair backing someone who needed it like Morgan. I don't think AJ/Morgan would be a particularly terrible match either.
