Two things I think they need to do before anything 1. Fire Josh Mathews. Seriously, this guy needs to go. His embarrassing rants and twitter exchanges has made the company look bad (among other things) for still employing him, he's pretty much disrespecting damn new anyone he feels like on social media and the company shows no sign of disciplinary action. And I haven't even mentioned his commentary sence I haven't watched a single impact sence he was brought it and from what I hear he's pretty damn awful. Like, why does TNA feel the need to keep him around. 2. Get rid of the TNA name altogether. You could improve your product, hire amazing wrestlers, and have awesome storylines but aslong as the company's name is 'TNA', they're still gonna look down upon. It's a really stupid name to have for you're company especially sence it was supposly named as joke or something. I mean just name the damn company "Impact Wrestling" and go from there, it's a decent enough name for a wrestling brand IMO. But that's how I feel about this situation, it's not much but its a good start. Didn't they officially change the name to Impact Wtestling with that godawful owl logo? the company is still called Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Go to Impactwrestling.com and TNA is still all over the site.

The effort of the teams has never really been the question. I honestly believe everyone in the company wants to do their best and gives their best. The thing people question is the quality of those efforts. You can try all you want as hard as you want, but if you suck, then you suck and that's just it. In fairness there's Ditzy level of suck, and Jarrett level of suck. At his worst Jarrett built a promotion to feed his ego. At Ditzy's worst she just destroyed everything she touched with her absolute stupidity and ineptness. Yes, Jarrett lost the company to her, and I get that, but I'd rather have someone who knows wrestling and was a wrestler and who understands what it is to be a wrestler to be the head of the company (again), rather than the daughter of a rich family who has failed in everything she's tried her hand at b/c she's horrible. That and Jarrett has a solid team behind him. I'm optimistic. It honestly can't be worse than Hogan bringing in f***ing Sean Morley to derail Christopher Daniels and the freaking Nasty Boys. I continue to carry the torch for this company to succeed in any way.

This- plus at the same time, when Jarrett had some power- he was the worst thing about the show onscreen, but TNA managed to have upward mobility and was a promotion on the rise that truly felt like a good number two promotion- even flirting at times with "a break or two their way and they might just stand a chance at fighting the WWE." Dixie, on the other hand, took all of that and systematically destroyed it, bombed it to rubble, bombed the rubble into rubble again to make sure it was laid waste to, and Anthem took over just as she had nearly finished salting the earth so no pro wrestling on television could ever grow again. Even Jamie Kellner didn't do enough to kill pro wrestling on television as Dixie Carter did in the last three years of her run- it wasn't enough to make TNA bad, but she made sure at least two networks would NEVER put a wrestling program on again, hurting whoever came after her.

From what I understand, Jeff always at least had everybody on the same page while he was in charge of creative even when Dixie was the owner, but once Dixie starting going after the ex WWE writers, things became too chaotic (for lack of a better word)

Imagine they do something interesting? When was the last time they had the book before Dixie? Was it it before S.E.X.? 2005 until 2010 TNA had a ton of problems, but at least I cared to watch. 2006 Planet Jarrett vs Sting's Army up to BFG 06 under Jarrett/D'Amore/Dutch then Turning Point 06 onward was Russo/Dixie/etc.

The thing is, it would be easy to start from scratch so to speak without going full WCW 2000. Just have a proper announcer and a proper ring. Put a ban on backstage stuff and too much in-ring promos. Disband the DCC and put a ban on groups for the time being. Put the Grand Championship on the shelf. Put a greater emphasis on who are the Top three babyfaces and Top three heels. And phase out the TNA name forever.
These are not revolutionary things but it's a few steps in making things better.
