Remember how much everyone shit on Braun for the better part of a year and laughed at the idea of him in high profile matches? And now he's the f***ing man. He looked like an absolute killer tonight. He beat Show clean and then immediately turned around and took out Roman. I remember people were the same about Rusev for a while.

Is there no such thing as middle ground anymore? I thought that was what we got, wrestling done right. We're saying the extremes makes no sense. Right, I agree. But why can't the thread be "Braun is f***ing cromulent!" or "Braun Strowman is pretty good these days!"? I think the dude's alright, he contributes perfectly to what's asked of him, and it seriously isn't much. But similar to every RAW being the worst ever or every Smackdown being best or every PPV being either "f*** WWE" or "best PPV of all time" worthy, the hyperbolic nature of the wording of these things just gets irritating after a spell. I get it, different strokes. I actually forgot my point. Enjoy this point, haha.

Not everyone is going to agree but these have been done way before I was even on FAN. Appreciation Threads are bias and the only merit are the people who want to praise a dude they like and other people actually agree. Not everyone is going to and that's fine. But it's kinda always been the point of them

I like Strowman as the resident monster heel but that's about it.
I don't see the value in him main eventing WrestleManias and having multiple world title reigns.

How is this not a double turn already?

I think the dude has earned his Mania Spot and a future World Title Reign at this point, but the dude has improved vastly from where he started, who knows what the future holds but I think it's bright.

I'm always going to remember him for when someone posted his Tinder bio.

Sadly I only got to see the clip on the wwe website which missed most of the cool stuff I heard about. That said, if there was any doubt that Strowman has a future, I'd say his performance at the Rumble laid that to rest. This cemented it. Big Show is like Andre, he will always be a threat, always a spectacle, especially when in Shows case he's in some of the best shape of his life. The dude has come a long way and I think he deserves the kudos he's getting. I agree with the person who mentioned it's like the Great Khali done right. This guy is a legit monster and with the amount he's improved, it's clear he's going places. The KO punch as far as I know is one of the most protected finishers in the business and he kicked out of it. Then he murked Roman. Even if he loses at Fastlane this guy has a bright future.

On a random sidenote, I get that they want to emphasize how big these guys are but they seriously reinforced the ring? Didn't they just have the rumble where at times there was something like ten guys in it?

It's going to be such a disappointment when he eats a spear and Reigns wins cleanly.

It's the hair. Back when he debuted as part of the Wyatt family, I couldn't help but imagine a giant bearded baby when I was Braun for the first time. Cutting off the sides makes him look a lot more intimidating.
It's always definitely the hair. I remember thinking Tyson Kidd looking like a big weird goof with that twirl he had on his head a long time ago.

Give credit where it's do. They've protted the guy, they did a great job masking us weakness and hiding his athletic talentd until it was time to show them. He reminds me of a young Paul Wight.

How is this not a double turn already? Against Succotash? It pretty much is, isn't it? They're pretty much letting it happen naturally.

I honestly think he's going to beat Roman at Fast Lane thanks to Undertaker Gongiference. Then he should go on to the Andre The Giant battle royal and literally eliminate everyone. I don't think it'd hurt anyone for him to just toss 19 Raw/SD scrubs over the top -- it doesn't feel like they'll have legit star power in the match this year.

He's gotten much better but for the people who said he was terrible over a year ago...well he was so I'm not sure why his improvement would change that.

Not nuts on the guy but I'll sure as shit take him getting a mega-push over someone like Corbin.

Braun has Def made a metric sh*t ton of improvement, not only showing he can work, but buikding his character post-wyatts. My only fear st this point is they keep using shenanigans to book losses, and he's being built to the point he cannot be beat by anyone the crowds will accept it from. A giant Daniel Bryan scenario if u will

Yeah I think the perfect spot for him is to win the ATG match. It is the perfect resolution to his more competition story.
