Wow!
I have been watching a lot of old footage from the 80s and have seen him on as a jobber a few times, never typed his name into the google machine until tonight and wow is all I can say.
The police station he bombed in the 90s is only about an hour and a half from where I live. I was only 10 when it happened so I don't remember ever hearing about it.

Sounds like someone's not True To The Crew here.
Hopefully, wherever he ends up his victims can give him some proper beatdowns Winnipeg-style. (And other references to Jericho's book and the one time this guy got any shine.)

What was the Cornette quote again? "He seemed like he'd do anything for you. Clearly, he WOULD." Something like that.
Otherwise, taking the Bambi stance here.

Randy Savage actually put the guy over clean in SMW, shame he turned into a real monster

My main memory of him is the "arms in a circle" pose he'd do when introduced, and Gorilla saying it came from the "movie, 1984." True or not?

Who? Seriously I'd never even heard of him before now.
Guy seems like he was a real piece of work, though.

I've never heard of him, but I hope his victim's families have a little bit of peace from this.

Wrestling is usually at least a little scummy, but Bruiser Bedlam is one of those cases where he wasn't so much scuzzy and greedy as he was just kind of a monster. The world isn't really short much for his passing.

Who? Seriously I'd never even heard of him before now. Big part of Cornette's SMW for a while, when McMahon sent Randy Savage there for a few shows, Savage offered out of nowhere to put the guy over clean to make the local talent look good. Did some job work for McMahon. And then he killed a bunch of people. Repeatedly.

Surprised he didn't end up dying by being pumped full of bullets like Dino Bravo.
Though was there ever any proof that murdered those people?

Though was there ever any proof that murdered those people? In his final murder trial (he had at least three), he plead guilty to conspiracy to commit murder (of the surviving victim, a 17 year old girl) in order to get out of being tried for the actual murder of the girl's boyfriend, which looked to land him in prison for a much, much longer time.

Really f***ed up dude. I remember listening to some of Cornette talking about him, but I've never really made any effort to check out his matches, not that I feel I missed anything. Mostly I remember Cornette joking that the terms of his parole, to not have contact with criminals or gangsters, precluded any chance of Bedlam returning to wrestling.

I get what you are saying here, but I just had this image in my head of him killing people, performing a resurrection and then killing them again

Bye, Felicia.
That's my "tribute". I'm not even gonna give this guy the dignity of a seriously insulting sendoff.

If all of these other guys are "now competing in that big wrestling ring in the sky," then I guess Bruiser Bedlam and Jimmy Snuka are headlining for the competition.
