The thread title reminds me of those old nWo commercials that used to air on Nitro.
"BUY THE SHIRT!"

For that kind of cash I could have gotten over 28,000 signed shirts from Jinder Mahal.
Also regarding the women's gear sold worn, do you think the buyer takes that first sniff 0.0000003 seconds after obtaining it and cries when they discover it is washed? I bet they do.

I'd rather pay that amount for Brock Lesnar fan's T shirt signed by Brock Lesnar fan.

I have my Bridgeport "Suplex City" shirt. He wasn't at the show, and it isn't signed, but it's fine with me

The funny thing is, the misconception that they don't wash anything is probably why this stuff sells so well.

Geez, it'd be cheaper to buy a shirt/belt, get a decent seat at WrestleMania, Hotel, and an airline ticket then go to WrestleMania Axxess to get them to sign it there, then to buy it offline.

People are so rich that they can blow over 10 Gs on worn t-shirts, meanwhile I have to budget and be an "adult".

Do they even NEED TO? I thought it's an open secret for most of these "worn" T-shirts/etc. that the performer merely takes the shirt, puts it over their head for a couple seconds, then immediately takes it off.

I'd like to think that the bidding now is just Brock using his piles of money, annoyed that WWE took his shirt to sell it.

I could never do this kind of thing as, aside from not wanting to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a shirt, I couldn't wear something I know someone's worn before. Especially a guy who projectile sweats from walking down to the ring.

The highest bidder winds up being Virgil.
Directed by M. Night Shymalan.

For 12 grand, you could just hang out at his favorite restaurant for a few weeks and politely ask him to sign a shirt.
By most accounts, he's fairly accommodating if you're not a dick.
Or, I guess, use the 12 Grand to go to WM and just get the signature at the fan fest.

It's gonna be like a sort of Thor's hammer kind of deal.
You're not Brock Lesnar enough to wear the shirt: the shirt then tightens up and pops you like a grape.
