NO i don't want to buy a bloody new machine to play this it can easily be done on LOW powered PC's and it would completely open up the modding scene for it wrestlers refs characters entrances music titantrons objects weapons match types EVERYTHING completely additional!!! it's sprite based and doesn't flipping NEED high power to run! it took me seven sodding years to find FPR i'm not gonna wait another seven years for it on another format!!! Well, the upside is, because FPWR developed quite a cult following in the States, the chances of it seeing an American release seems stronger now than it did 10 years ago. And honestly, I don't think Japan is really very PC influenced, so the chances of a PC release are very remote. As cool as it'd be, it's just not going to happen, unless someone builds an emulation of it. So, we gotta take what we can get here.

Strangely, Spike Chunsoft is one of the Japanese developers that has been releasing games on Steam (Zero Time Dilemma, Dangan Ronpa, and the One Way Heroics remake come to mind), but yeah. With this apparently being for the Switch, there's no way in hell that a PC port would happen.

I have full faith that tonight we'll get an announcement for the game we all want, even if it might be a switch exclusive.

I'd be happy if this was just just an online version of FPWR, but the wonderful thing I realized is a PC Fire Pro opens up the possibilities of modding and Steam edit workshops, and that could prove very, very interesting for the game.

Intel i5 processor requirement? Seriously? You should be able to find a used one (and its corresponding motherboard) for not a ton of money this day and age.

I just don't see the appeal of these games. They always look like a SNES game. It's 2017, we have PCs and game systems that produce AMAZING looking games...and this game looks exactly like the PS2 game did (and it looked outdated then, too).
And the awkward, fixed camera angle is just terrible. And it makes the controls beyond clunky.
Sorry, not trying to be a Debbie Downer. Just my 2 cents. I hope those of you who have been looking forward to this really, really enjoy it.

Gameplay> Graphics. The WWE games have been shitted upon for years while fans still praise FPW's design. C. Sheer, massive quantity of Wrestlers. Returns had 300+ in-game & save slots for an additional 500. The WWE games released during those days were more like 60 & 30 respectively. Sure more recent games have increased the numbers that's at least partly due to advancing tech in disc & hard drive capacities & they're still from reaching Returns. A new FPW game released on modern consoles & PC could have damn near limitless CAW slots.

Hell, they wore the fact that the graphic style isn't changing on their sleeves with that one slide of the side-by-side comparison of FPW-R and FPW-W's graphics, and boasting that nothing's changed graphically. People who are fans of the series will respond well to that. It's part of the charm of the series. Will it bring new people into it? Maybe not, nor should it, because the graphics are secondary to how the series plays. Plus, half the charm of the series is seeing how close you can make wrestlers with the limited pieces that you have.

I would imagine it will be even bigger here BEFORE PC mods. Also, there's a video of Suda51 hyping this game. *pro-wres LOVE pose*
