Touching base on this again, I now have two Jon Moxley caws that don't say they use dlc that I can't use. Anyone have a clue what they might have that makes them unusable? Maybe the new stardom dlc?

Maybe the new stardom dlc? Either that or the Takayama one, probably. I heard I could copy the wrestler, edit out the DLC move(s) and still use him but I can't find anything in the moves that seems new. Maybe a part of his gear is DLC?

Heads up, the Fire Pro World stuff is on sale on PS4 as part of the Big In Japan sale, everything is 50% off, with the exception of the STARDOM DLC, sadly, which is still full price.

Also, according to Tomozou-san, STARDOM belts are coming in the next update, and they've begun work on translating SUDA51's Jr. heavyweight DLC Fighting Road.

This game can kiss my ass.
A 8 man team league I was doing is gone, cause one of the created wrestlers I got from FPW NET is now using DLC content so now I can’t use that wrestler unless I open my wallet.
Seriously this is asshole design.

If I get it, which DLC should I get? Depending on what you're looking for, you can get by without the NJPW wrestler packs, but it's good to have the extra parts and moves. Really, the Fire Promoter is a lot of fun and is probably the best DLC to invest in, especially if you're a fan of putting together matches. It takes some trial and error to get the hang of it without bankrupting your company, but it's a lot of fun.

The thing that annoys me about that mode is I can't add more people to Fire Promoter later after the initial setup (I usually download a lot of Edits whenever I'm playing).

Yeah, I didn't realize that you couldn't do that. I wonder if they fixed that in any of the mods.

Matsumoto-san has posted a blogpost about the details of what to expect in 2020. Here are the details. www.spike-chunsoft.com/news/fire-pro-wrestling-world-2020-roadmap/So, we're getting new Takayama charity DLC next month, the Suda 51 scenario the month after that, and it sounds like, with the release of the Parts Craft/Move Craft mode in the spring, they're going to be winding down official material support for the game from the team. :/

Although I think the hope is that Spike wants gamers to play FPWW for as many years as possible (similar to games like Grand Theft Auto 5, Dead Or Alive 6, Street Fighter V, Anthem, etc.) even after all the DLC packs are out, so they want to perfectly fine tune everything with patches and stuff, and keep the online servers up and active for as long as possible. (It's understandable for them to expect longevity for FPWW, since FPR was played by Fire Pro gamers for over 10 years with zero updates, so I hope FPWW stays active for a while.)
