One of the coolest idea/dumbest execution lines we got in the 80s was Manglors. They were squishy "figures" that you could pull apart and supposedly put back together. It didn't really work out right.

Another toy range from the 80s I remember was Manta Force!
And yes all that ammo and those tiny men were very easy to lose.

Can't believe I'm still the only Visionaries voter. They had the articularion of GI Joes but were magic knights with holograms.

We really did get the best toys in the 80's-early 90's
I still cant walk into a Target, KMart or Walmart etc without checking out the toy aisle. Ya they make some super cool, articulated and detailed shit these days, but it feels loke toys are made for collectors not kids. The shit we got back then was way more appealing to a child.
And on top of it, they only make toys of movies and video games nowadays. There are no original toy lines anymore, its just Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Turtles, Transformers, Wrestling etc.
And as to the poll, I voted WWF wrestling figures. Those LJNs were the shit. King Kong Bundy was a lethal weapon. And then we got the Hasbros late in the game. I f***ing loved those, still have mine and on and off over the last 20 years have collected the ones I never had as a child. Im about 15 short of having the entire run, and unfortunately those would be the green card series and the mailaways. But I'll get them all eventually.

I mean even Battlebeasts was part of Transformers.

My choices were:
1) Star Wars 2) GI Joe 3) Transformers (some GoBots got to join the Autobots and Decepticons when I played with them) 4) Three way tie Thundercats/Sectaurs/Masters of the Universe (I used them all together in a mega universe) 5) Other (Lego!!!!)
I certainly had some of the other choices here as well as some others. I almost listed the Wheeled Warriors. The Voltron toys were a bit disappointing or they might have made the list. Robo Force, which was not on the list, were also fun.
How in the world did Micro Machines not make this list?

Micro Machines was my "other", along with WWF figures, GI Joe, and Muscle things (did you mean M.U.S.C.L.E.: Millions of Unusual Small Creatures Lurking Everywhere? I had almost everything with those: 2 rings, 2 belts, all sorts of stuff).

Anyone remember Supernaturals? The ones with the hologram covering the entire chest area, I had the undead zombie guy and the snakeman of egypt. They were great! I do remember now that you've mentioned them, I definitely had a couple of them. Anybody else remember / have Manta Force?(late 80s) They were big spaceships that had a bunch of smaller vehicles inside or built in. pics

I was a sucker for anything robots, from Transformers and Gobots, to Robo Force and these guys: I have a soft spot for boxy robot toys from the 1980s. Especially ones with cassette players and games Anyone remember Supernaturals? The ones with the hologram covering the entire chest area, I had the undead zombie guy and the snakeman of egypt. They were great! I do remember now that you've mentioned them, I definitely had a couple of them. Ugh so hard to choose. Masters of the universe was the first toy I really remember wanting a lot of. I was a huge transformer fan but toys were expressive so I never had a lot. But I think I'll go with the original ljn wee figures I had them all until generation three I think

1. DC Super Powers. The closest thing I ever had a kid to a complete figure, vehicle and playset line 2. MASK. They were awesome. I wish I still had the toys I had when I was 8 in the original condition 3. Thundercats. Had many of the the Thundercats, some of the mutants and the Thunder-tank 4. MOTU. Got a bunch of them second hand. Had some of the newer (post 85) vehicles 5.TMNT. Like Super Powers I had a large collection. But I was a little older and it doesn't quiet have the same nostalgia joy.

It was one of those "cutesy" toy lines, but i loved Nerfuls
Getting back to Action figures, anyone remember the toys based off of DC Comics "The Warlord"? I had All of them except for the Warlord himself (ironically) and Hercules.
