Make what you consider the best sandwich you can eat.
For me, I reckon it would be something simple. Bread and bacon, maybe toast the bread and add some cheese, but that's about it.

I love ruben sandwiches and lately I have made them with a homemade quick sauerkraut and this cornbeef that we get from this awesome deli and just a little thousand island and then swiss cheese on rye bread and cook it so the bread is toasted and cheese is melty and it is awesome.

A simple grilled cheese can be pretty nice.

A simple grilled cheese can be pretty nice. Ya, sometimes simple is nice. We have pandesal here, which is a common bread type in the Philippines. If I wake up early in the morning there's a nearby store that opens with the bread all fresh and hot. Would buy some, go home and just put some cold butter on the still warm bread. Very delicious. For something more elaborate, Hong Kong style French toast. Hard to call it a sandwich, though, since one kinda eats it like pancakes. There's filling between the bread like peanut butter or jam, so kinda sandwich-like, but at the same time there's lots of butter on top and honey/syrup, which is pretty pancake-like.

But seriously if I was making a sandwich I just like a simple tuna sandwich with lettuce, tomato's, cucumbers, and a light mayo spread. Maybe pickles if I want some tang to it.

Wheat bread. Grilled chicken. Lettuce. Tomatoe. Absurdly simple and it's my favorite.

Channeling my inner foodie: Slice of toasted rye bread. Spread on some Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard. Couple slices of ham. Piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. Couple slices of turkey. Another piece of lettuce and slice of tomato. Two or three pieces of crispy bacon. Another slice of toasted rye bread with Gulden's Spicy Brown mustard spread on it. Divine.

best sandwich I ever had was a Monte Cristo (ham, turkey, swiss) normally served on french toast... but this one instead they took it... then dumped it in like funnel cake batter and deep fried... then covered with powdered sugar.
It was amazing.

Ham and swiss on rye, grilled. Or a cuban. is a hamburger considered a sandwich? My grandmother ALWAYS called burgers 'Hamburger sandwich'. Her mindset was that you buy hamburger meat and it can be used in hamburger helper, chili, whatever. So when she's of the mind to have a burger, she's having a hamburger sandwich.
