Looking good, Tiger. How does a guy with a skillion dollars not have a driver for times when he gets f***ed up

Apparently, he was slurring & fell asleep behind the wheel.
He passed a breathalyzer but failed the sobriety test.

So it seems they find Tiger asleep behind his running vehicle and the cops described him of having slurred speech.
Yesterday it was reported he did not take the breath test but today in fact it was said he did and registered a 0.00. He also took a urine test. He cooperated with the cops as much as possible they describe and he told them he took a few pain killers.
I assume the rhetoric goes from he's a pill addict instead of an alcoholic but at the end of the day it was still a stupid decision. He's had 4 back surgeries and should know better than to take medication and drive as he could of seriously hurt someone on the road.
I believe some people on various networks called him a "lost soul" because they thought alcohol was involved. Either way, I don't expect people to backtrack from their comments but point stands Tiger made a reckless decision and thankfully no one was hurt.

Either way, I don't expect people to backtrack from their comments but point stands Tiger made a reckless decision and thankfully no one was hurt. They are pretty different situations, though. I'd say it's way more excusable to take a new or higher dosage prescription and think you're good to drive fine, but then it hits you in the middle of your trip. As opposed to consciously drinking 12 beers and driving. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like something that a lot of people could have happen accidentally. I got put on a muscle relaxer for about 6 months not that long ago. I took one before bed the first night, slept for 8 hours, got up and made a drive. I surprisingly still felt "off" in the middle of the drive. Clearly, not as much as Tiger looks in that photo. Holy hell. I drove fine, but my balance felt off and I'm not positive I would have destroyed a sobriety test either. The problem is that prescription drugs feel so much safer than actual drugs that people don't really give them the fear or respect they deserve. Which not only explains the rampant prescription drug abuse (which I really hope this doesn't fall under, but may), but also may explain situations like this.

I get where you are coming from and agree on certain points. I wouldn't say it's excusable per se but my key factor in all of this is this is his 4th back surgery so I would assume the medication he is taking is not foreign to him. Can 4 back surgeries get you addicted to pills, of course and I hope that is not the case here but I stand by it was reckless of him considering the surgeries he has had and such.

Fair point, good discussion. I wasn't saying it was excusable, but I think making a mistake with a prescription is more excusable than drunken driving. Now if he does have a problem abusing medications, that is exactly as egregious as drinking and driving.

Tiger Woods is going to rehab for an addiction to prescription medication: nypost.com/2017/06/12/tiger-is-heading-back-to-rehab/While I hope Woods cures the demons that ail him, here's my on-the-links take: not only will Tiger Woods never win another major again, I believe Tiger Woods will never win another PGA tournament again.
