The Zodiac name was so confusing because of the killer's name being Zodiac. But then again, WCW had the "Final Solution" a few months later so they were probably never really knowledgeable about things like that. It's really too bad the fall had to happen with Shockmaster. It probably wouldn't have been a main event gimmick but maybe it could've had some steam.

If Fred hadn't tripped and fell through the paper, it would be lost in time. So at least it was memorable. yeah without the tripping and falling it would have just been yet another goofy gimmick that disappeared with little anyone remembering it.

Without that trip and fall it would've been like Battle Kat. Stupid, but not that memorable. Davey Boy was classic there..."He fell flat on his arse...Flat on his f***ing arse!"

That line still cracks me up. You can imagine Davey Boy pointing at him and laughing.

He should have just stayed in WWE and gone back to his Tugboat gimmick.

Like a classic Nelson moment.

The idea behind the Shockmaster? I think it was called 1993 WCW.

My favorite part of the shockmaster is the person (announcer?) that happily says "Alright!" in the split second before he falls

Dusty didn't want to make the nepotism seem to obvious. That's why he hid his brother in law in a storm trooper helmet. Poor uncle Fred, what basically was supposed to be a main event push killed his career. Dusty told the story how young Cody Rhodes was watching the Clash with his buddies; when Shockmaster went for his helmet like a roll of errant toilet paper. Cody said "I think thats Uncle Fred!"
