The Bulls beat the Celtics, despite the efforts of Larry Bird.
It's been a while........

Bulls embarrassed The Heat last night. I know its only the first game but that doesn't look good.

The season starts today I think. So make your predictions on who's going to the finals and who wins in how many games. Suns beat the Nets in 7 I like both teams but it's more like this: San Antonio sweeps Chicago 4-0

Eastern Conference Finals: Bulls over Nets in 6 Western Conference Finals: Spurs over Suns in 5 NBA Finals: Spurs over Bulls in 6
It's the Spurs' year again - and I can say this objectively, not just because I'm a Spurs fan. They came within an eyelash of winning three of the four games they lost to Dallas in the playoffs last year and set a franchise record for wins even in a year where Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili were hurt for the majority of he year. And they now have adequate rest and enjoyed a summer free of international or olympic play for the first time in years.

Warriors will suck. Hopefully with Nellie, they won't suck THAT bad.

Warriors will suck. Hopefully with Nellie, they won't suck THAT bad. Givem' some credit. In the west, they could easily take the 7th or 8th spot. I say that with full expectations that they won't. But every year it looks more and more likely.

Tonight wasn't the best of starts. They get their asses handed to them by the Lakers, and Nellie rips into Davis and Dunleavy after the game. Still, this could set up for a real life NBA version of Major League. They get destroyed by their in-state rivals in the opener, there is dissention through the team, and they struggle on the outset. As the season progresses, they come together, improve, and beat teh Lakers for the division on the last day of the season.

I don't think the Warriors are that bad. They just need to come and play. Sorry. They do have scoring prowess.

Yeah, it's really our defense we need to work on.
As the team runs out onto the court before each game, they should start with the "Come out and plaaay" line from the movie, then go right into the Ultimate Warrior's music. If they make the playoffs this year, I will go to a game with my face painted UW style in Warriors colors.
