Man, I'm not going to say I don't get where you're coming from. Trust me, I'm a fan of Ziggler and Charlotte. But you think you have it bad? Try NOT being a fan of someone who mains events every Mania, wins every feud he's a part of, gets coronation after coronation, and overshadows the entire company he's a part of. You don't have it that tough. Wait, people don't like Charlotte? what the hell Yeah, plenty of people don't. I'm one of them, personally have absolutely zero clue what appeal she has on any level. But if someone is a fan, more power to them.

I truly believe I'm the only Elias Sampson fan in the whole of the UK, as I've never met/spoke to anyone yet who shares the same opinion. With that said I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks of the drifter, highly underated in-ring and in general in my opinion. You're the first person I've seen to admit Drifter fandom, but there was quite a bit of love for El Vagabundo in Orlando. *raises hand* I'm a Drifter fan as well. I like the gimmick & I think he's a decent enough wrestler. Hoping he gets a nice mid-low mid card push on Raw.

Looks like I'm the first one to admit to being a Sami Zayn fan in this thread. At least they're pushing your guy to the moon. They have no clue what the f*** to do with my guy. It's almost the same thing as Luke Harper, where you can tell he's nowhere near the bottom tier of guys, but he somehow ends up as credible fodder for the guys above him and racks up way more losses than necessary. At least Zayn picks up wins over the scrubs occasionally to get some Ws on the board.

Having to see every other post be anti-Reigns, knowing that a large portion of the board won't like him even if his booking does improve and he gets turned heel, basically being the lone person ANYWHERE who likes him... it sucks. It really does. And tonight may have been the absolute lowest point. You'll feel better in 10 years when he's enjoying his 15th world title reign.

I was a fan of The Big Dawg until it turned out he was a Holocaust denier. There are certain things I just can't get past and that's one of them.

This man made 3.5M last year, has fun with his friends, wins most of his matches and already has the accolades that make him a headling Hall of Famer.
Why in the hell do you care that people don't like him lmao?

I think he has a grest look, he's passable enough in the ring, and the heat he gets is funny. There is nothing funnier too than hearing Graves rip into him. It never gets old.

You guys and your fan favorites. I am still waiting for my sweater vest wearing boys from Greenwich to show up again. We are long overdue to hear that awesome entrance music live again.

Like whomever you like and don't give a damn what other people think.
I'm not a Roman fan or hater, but I will continue to say that WWE brought the Roman backlash on themselves by having the subtlety of smashing a brick over someone's head from the very beginning of his push. Though as the Cena years taught us, WWE doesn't care if their top babyface gets booed out of the building as long as the company is still making money, and they care even less now that tv ratings and pay per view buyrates are basically meaningless, so he's got that going for him.

Preaching to the choir. Putting Sami on Raw instead of Smackdown was the single dumbest move in the draft last year. Dude should've been having great matches for the IC title, instead he's on Raw getting jobbed out, acting like a neurotic geek in backstage segments, and doing nothing of value for an entire year. Embarrassing.

It really does. And tonight may have been the absolute lowest point. I'm sorry the guy you like is written so horribly. Seriously. I'd be upset if Balor was written like a tool constantly for 3 years. Hopefully someone talks some sense into the man in charge. I wanted to like him after last week's promo. They had so much natural heat to go with. But instead they manufacture it. It's just mind boggling watching them make the same mistakes over and over and over. Reigns could have been a beast. Vince has been neutering him. Edit: Wait, it just hit me. That's Bray Wyatt for me. I never really saw it like that until now. But your Roman Reigns is my Bray Wyatt. Drifter has great low-key heel heat. It's great to hear genuine boos. Him cheered as El Vagabundo is kinda cool, b/c even I was cracking up at him not trying to hide who he was. Same voice and everything. It was like "we appreciate your heeling ability". I certainly do.

Man I've had some bad luck with some of my favorites. Throughout the Ruthless Aggression Era my favorite was Batista. But even in his heyday he drew a lot of criticism. Most of it was in the form of memes like basketballs and game genies. It was mostly harmless fun but there was a vocal group that wanted him gone and celebrated every setback he had. I also became a fan of John Cena during this period mainly because I felt the Cena hate was so unwarranted. Then after Batista left he returned in 2014 and I was excited to see him back. Then the Royal Rumble happened and he was public enemy #1. And I agreed with the majority of fans, Batista shouldn't have gotten the title shot over Daniel Bryan. But it was still tough dealing with the backlash. After Batista left again I started to follow Roman Reigns. Mainly because he reminded me of a young Batista. I enjoyed seeing him work his way up the card but as he climbed I could see the backlash coming and after the 2015 Royal Rumble it exploded. And the thing was in my mind he hadn't done anything wrong other than be Vince's guy. Maybe part of it is the fact that my favorites made it to the top. I've never felt that the guys I like were being held down. I've never felt ignored by the WWE. I can see how that could change my view of those who do get to the top. And even his harshest critics try to separate the man from the character. As for Roman today, like Batista and Cena before him I accepted the fact that there are those who don't like him. I really don't see him as a heel or a face but just Roman. And anyone can react to Roman the way they want I'm still in his corner. Besides I'm also a Patriots fan so I'm used to all this anyway. Better to be hated than ignored. They hate us cause they ain't us.

I see Roman Reigns fans at events. No issues whatsoever. They like him? Cheer. That's awesome. Freaking tons of gall from the OP. I think Reigns gets a bad wrap as a performer and that it's the booking nightmare that's the failure, but this post does more to make me utterly hate the guy than anything the booking crew could be doing to him. It sounds like something a snooty Duke fan would say in defense of their team. At the very least, this is the same level as AlexRileyObsessedFan.post, if not worse. Word. This nails it. You have it good. It's pretentious as I don't know what to think your guy (or you, yourself) has it so bad when there are tons of people you and others jeer and deride all over the place that aren't being booked properly but have a chance to be great.

I like Roman, but I get it. I can imagine it's a bit like being a Sexy Star fan as a Lucha Underground lover (I know she has considerable backlash with some, dunno how bad it got), or I dunno, Abyss or Eddie Edwards, dunno who TNA's whipping boy would be.
Are Roman-hating people always rational? Oh dear lord, no, the guy literally looked at his phone once backstage and someone bitched in a Raw live thread about it, reading this undertone of him not caring about anything that could have ended with "MILLENNIALS!!!" and not looked out of place.
Still, the guy is a polarizing figure, and it's been like this for years. People are worn down and their nerves are raw, and they're fed up with Roman and his booking. That's understandable after this much time.

It happens. I've liked stuff (wrestlers, movies, video games) that most people put down & hate. Just happens you're behind one of WWEs biggest guys like that so you'll see more exposure than if you were a fan of a lower card guy people hate. Just enjoy Roman for what he does for you & be the part of the crowd that cheers.

I dont want to sound insulting but if this is a big problem in your life, then you cant be older then 14.
I think that almost every womens match is better than any match that the men had on Raw in years, but why would I complain that people stop watching because of Charlotte?
Aslong as you are not related to Reigns, who cares and why? You know he doesnt know you right?

And I'm pretty sure I'm about to take some major heat on this board because of my massive dislike for Alexa. But you've got to stick to your guns, even when it puts the majority against you. I agree with this because I have a severe dislike for James Ellsworth. I just found his booking during the Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles feud intolerable. Being an AJ Styles fan, I HATED the fact that Ellsworth beat him not once, not twice, but three times. I know AJ Styles got injured during that feud but I hated how it took 4 attempts to get his revenge on James Ellsworth. When he did finally get his revenge his much needed victory was shat on by David Otunga, who was like yeah he finally beat James Ellsworth but he still lost to him 3 times. That ish annoyed me to no end because around the same time it was rumored that AJ was going to face The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble. But how could he be taken seriously as the WWE champion if he is made the butt of the joke at James Ellsworth expense?.
