Remember when Jinder used a flute to charm Santino's cobra glove? I want him to try that with Randy.

The promo was real heel heat. Not the go away heat like Roman, but real bad guy stuff.
If Jinder is a change from the Orton status quo, I am all for it. As long as Jinder is dethroned by fresh talent - maybe Sinshe Nakamura?

No. The belt needs to stay on one guy after the Styles to Cena, Bray in the chamber and Bray to Orton hot shotting. Jinder's credibility can get built up from the run of feuding with Orton for the belt even if he doesn't win it.

Seriously, what would be the upside of Jinder being a top champion?

Seriously, what would be the upside of Jinder being a top champion? Something new and different. It'd also be something new and different if they had Mike Bennett debut by winning all three sets of tag titles by himself, it'd still be stupid.

I seriously hate the modern "push" where they're just in the main event suddenly with no build. I don't care if it gets good heel heat, it's not good writing and it's not fun for me to watch.

Why not? He almost beat Seth Rollins to be the first NXT Champion. {Spoiler}Honest answer...at this time no, but I do like seeing more variety in title shots.

Jinder transitioning the title to Nakamura and a new breed would be an upside. The old guard with their 12+ title reigns - I do not need to see them on top again.

He's a heel that people want to see beat. He's the perfect Joker to most of those listed Batman.

Sure, I mean it wouldn't bother me. Especially since Randy Orton as World Champion is dull as dogshit, Jinder would at least be something completely unexpected to the fold.
And if he won it he'd play the undeserving heel PERFECTLY with a faction of guys like the Bollywoods playing protector and everything. I dunno some people really seem to take offense to it happening but to me if done right it could lead to some interesting things.
Also people are comparing him to JBL. Wasn't JBL in his Mid 40's when he got his championship push? Ya'll realize Jinder is ONLY 30 right?? He's still pretty young considering when he first started in the E. In terms of Push outta nowhere I can see the comparison though, I just think because Jinder's been in the E for awhile people think he's pushing 40 or something, far from it.

Tbh, much as I'd like the title off Orton, it'd be a hell of a weird addition to the title's somewhat-protected lineage, whereas it might be ok with the Universal belt. Imagine future announcers running down the title history.
"Bruno Sammartino. Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels. Steve Austin. The Rock. John Cena. Daniel Bryan. The least talented member of 3MB even including Hornswoggle."
