WCW Live with Borash, Ryder, often Madden, and various characters was a tremendous show. James from Kentucky Life!

They brought back the long runway that went to the very edge of the ring. I always loved when WCW used it.

Tank Abbott pulling out a knife and threatening to f***ing kill Big Al cut Big Al's beard was hilarious. That was in 2000, right? Yep, at Superbrawl 2000.

I marked out hard when James Brown danced at SuperBrawl 2000 with The Cat.

A bunch of new people got pushes.
We got a bunch of sweet hoss-ass matches with the likes of Mike Awesome, Hugh Morrus, Scott Steiner, Kronik, and Goldberg.

Were Daffney and Crowbar around in 2000? Them, if so.

April 10th, 2000 is still one of the dates I can easily remember from the hype, even if it didn't really pan out.

Random Kanyon Cutters FTW. Kanyon was the living embodiment of the "RKO Outta Nowhere" comedy meme a decade-plus before it became a thing.

Watching WCW on Friday evenings here in the UK was a huge part of my formative wrestling years and growing up in general for me, and being far too young to know what was good and what was bad and just being happy to see wrestling on TV, I always enjoyed it.

I actually enjoyed it in a car crash TV way, it was so bad I thought it was good. The booking was nonsensical and they made so many f*** ups with talent, but it felt fresher than WCW had been in about 2 years

Re-watching it now the only thing positive I can say is they had a ton of really attractive women on the roster and they were pretty much all gone by the end of 2000. Yeah, wasn't that when they broke the Nitro Girls up and paired them up as characters with random wrestlers? And then when that failed, they got let go. The doom of changing a supporting player's role: once they're changed and it fails, they really can't ever go back to that past role which worked.

If I took it serious like I did with the WWF at the time, I would be extremely disappointed. However, once I saw it as Crash TV(literally), it was fun for it's comedic value.
