Why would you have a guy shave to look thinner? Doesn't that achieve the exact opposite? Yes and no. Sometimes having a fat guy beard looks like you only have a beard to hide your fatness and it really shows. Especially when the beard is light or patchy enough to show the double chin and more. And sometimes when the beard gets really straggly it somehow makes the face look rounder. Kind of like how Vincent D'Onofrio looks fatter or rounder with a beard on but when he's Kingpin he looks more intimidating because he owns up to his mass and carries himself like a boss. Like Samoa Joe who really carries himself like Kingpin would look probably fatter if he had a beard

I think the problem isn't with Owens not lifting weights the way Vince wants, it's that he won't drink whatever alien blood Vince ingests to stay muscular. Even if Owens wanted to, he couldn't. Jinder already drank it all.

I can buy every word of this because Vince is a body guy to the bitter end, but if we get credible heel Owens receiving a big push for then I'm not going to complain. Seeing one of my favorites be saddled with that f***ing dismal universal title run has me so ready to see this Owens tear up a storm on Smackdown.

Honestly if this is Kevin Owen's version of a "SRS Jericho stripping away past identifiable traits of characters past" gimmick. I would be hitting the weights to further the change.

If anyone is "fed up" it would be Owens...
Because fat (sidenote I wish I had his physique)

I can't wait for Owens to look like IRS's son wrestling in a suit. Better than his other kids who wrestle in a singlet and a f***ing fedora.

I'm kind of okay with the change in look for Owens with the shaven beard and suits for promos, but my god, he should not wrestle in them.

Sounds like someone took an idea and ran with it.
I do not mind the new look for Owens as it is a needed evolution of his character. I would not be surprised if he changed his gear a bit but no damn way he's wrestling in a suit

I think it would be fun to see him wear the suit for everything but matches. During matches, he should rock a sleeveless dress shirt, tie, and khaki shorts.

It's about time they "hid" his physique. I was so sick of him walking around on every show with no shirt on!

For reference's sake, here is the general pecking order worth noting for news stories:
-Meltzer da God (and if it's off a repost site citing Meltzer they usually twist his words to be more inflammatory or clickbaitey, so be careful if he says anything that seems too outlandish) -Mike Johnson, when he's not dealing with TNA's official side of any story, because company insiders tend to leak him bullshit versions of events--he was the one who broke TNA's side of the AJ Styles story that not only made no sense but accidentaly constituted TNA officially declaring themselves as guilty of contract tampering -TMZ for the more celeb gossip sort of stuff like marriages and public incidents, don't really report on actual news but they do have WWE connections
And then some degree down in credibility but still usually pretty on the spot when they break their own shit -Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, former TMZ guy who has company connections -Wade Keller of PWInsider -Court Bauer is a former WWE writer with a few good ones under his belt but also a fair amount of things that didn't really turn out to be very true at all -Squared Circle Sirens seems to be really good for breaking anything related to women's wrestling and indy women getting signed, clearly they have connections in that department and don't really break much news outside of when things actually pan out
Take everything else as either pretty unlikely or as general conjecture based on what they see on TV, if not outright just completely made up. When other sites are right it's usually because they're scumming off of whatever Meltzer said.

Great list, but I think I should be on there too, somewhere around the top, just because it would make me feel good.
