I couldn't get to the comic shop yesterday at all. Sad. Anything from Marvel, DC, or the TMNT book that I need to know?

The place I usually go to was pretty much picked clean for comics, all they had were DC Superhero Girls, Secret Empire 0 and Wonder Woman. I got WW and DC for my girlfriend (no way am I supporting Secret Empire). I also got the new ROM series, issues 1-3 , and Picked up the FCBD exclusive Iron Fist Funko Pop and the Bombshell WW minifig for the lady.

If you're giving a hoot about Secret Empire, you'll probably want to grab their FCBD book - it's sort of a flashback, but seems important to the story to want to see/read. And there's a fun little Spider-Man backup previewing the new Spectacular Spidey series. DC pretty much does reprints and preview pages in their books, so pass. TMNT was a prelude to an upcoming storyarc.

I went late to mine and it was pretty much picked clean. I was behind several people who were just there for the free comics. You have to love those people. At least buy something while you're there.

Man, I went and spent about an hour just wandering around in a haze. Wishing I knew as much about comics as the people there. Was really out of my element... ended up picking up a couple Guardians Of The Galaxy paperbacks as "Night Of The Living Deadpool."
Really wish I was more outgoing so I could know how to break the ice and be like, "Hey guys, you know about comics, I'd like to know about comics, let's be friends and teach me about comics."
