No one in this thread is doing anything remotely near 'Us vs. Them', if anything, people are realising after being told they're moaning about Raw and Smackdown and that they should watch something else...well, people ARE watching something else. The options right now are ridiculous and the hunger from the crowds is there. There's a reason that NJPW can come to LA with barely any television and a streaming service that needs work and sell out both nights rapidly. Never before now, probably not since the territories, have we seen so many companies get either more popular or showing signs of growth than right now. If anything, outside of WWE, right now is the best time to be a wrestling fan probably since the Monday Night Wars and the hardcore fans (even some casuals) are realising it too. There are wrestling companies and fans who look at themselves as in competition to WWE instead of considering themselves alternatives and catering to demographics craving something different. I'm not talking about FAN because they are plenty of places where diehards and supposed casuals go to talk about wrestling. Cannot name names without breaking rules but some are taking this story as " The downfall of WWE" when it's not. So if that's the case, and to be frank here, why even bring it up? There's no point in bringing up a topic and not be able to fully respond to it if you know it'll break the rules. Especially if it's got nothing really to do with what people are talking about in this topic.

Don't know why it got to be "Us vs Them" when it comes to WWE & the indies. Can I be happy that I can have super easy access to wrestling any time I want it of all varieties and styles? No. Now fight me

I was just saying that for the most part when people tune out WWE, business declines everywhere else and that currently isn't the case. Currently it seems the US independent scene isn't directly correlated to the success of the WWE, for the first time since I can remember. I certainly don't consider these companies competition to the WWE at this point, but alternatives and at that many seem to doing well. It also makes me wonder if we will see a boom in the independent scene, like the one that is currently happening in the UK.

I was expressing my feelings about just being a fan of pro wrestling without having to take party lines.
