All the bad guys in in Die Hard 2 when McClane lights the fuel trail and the fire follows the plane right into the air.

2nd got off easy but first was def worth it And honestly, I consider it a failing of the writers that {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Ramsay being pummeled half to death by Jon, only to finally meet his end when Sansa gets retribution for her rape and everything he's done by tying him to a chair and locking him in to be torn apart by his own hounds feels like an inadequate end for him. He got away with so much as a character that even what should have been a beautiful moment of karmic comeuppance felt halfhearted. {Spoiler}{Spoiler} I don't have much of a problem with the punishment as much how halfhearted it came across as you said. This should of been shown in all its "gruesome glory." Everybody who Ramsay tortured and survived should of had their turn at him and then he's fed to the dogs in the same as a game of hunt. Locking him in to feed to his dogs was just meh.
Joffrey is probably still the best villain death you can ask for and the actor did a great job of selling the panic in the face of a boy who thought he was invincible.

That early Simpsons episode where the jerkass French winemakers are taken down by Bart and a helpful French police officer, paying back their needless cruelty on poor Bart.

Warden Samuel Norton and the guard Hadley in Shawshank Redemption. Hadley getting arrested was great after all the crooked crap he was involved in. Norton took the easy way out, but it was a fitting end for such a corrupt man who didn't practice what he preached with his biblical scripture quotes.

I've always said the UHF has the greatest sequence of a villain getting his comeuppance ever put to film.

Lester in the first season of the TV series Fargo. A snivelling little murdering coward. Died appropriately.. freezing to death while cowardly running from the police.

Another one that comes to mind is Light Yagami. After seeing himself as a god and planning to finally wipe out all those that opposed him, he's outsmarted and outmanoeuvred to the point he ends up crawling on the ground, alone, abandoned and bleeding out while he snivels and raves. Then he runs off and dies alone. A fitting end. Off the top of my head, yeah, this is it. It was fantastic in manga form, it was masterful in anime form. Even with the slight change made with Mikami. It was so fitting. He wasn't bested by someone better than him, he was bested by someone worse than him. He got so hung up on the rules and how willing L was to play by them, that he didn't consider Near wouldn't.

F*** Near is all I got to say I guess you could add Lelouch from Code Geass tho he planned his own death. Tho R3 is coming out and he's not dead so that kind of kills my point.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of Near either. But I'm just glad Light got his in the end rather than being allowed to win.

Ehh i'm one of those people who would of liked to see Light win despite how "crazy" he got at the end. Just never liked Near winning and Matsuda gunning down Light He was doomed the minute he touched the Death Note which kind of gives him a "tragic" feel but in saying that he took no prisoners and would sacrifice anyone if he had to.

See, to me one of the best parts of that end is Matsuda, who was more like a son to Light's dad than Light was. He was more the kid in the group than Light was too. That moment was essentially him growing up, coming full circle and getting justice for the man he idolized. In doing so, damaging him too because of the realization of who Light Yagami really was and all of the implications that came with it. Matsuda looked up to Light till that point, almost as much as his dad. You don't get the full condemning of Light and the manifestation of how far he's gone without Matsuda's involvement. Without Matsuda to play off of.

One of my favorites is if you beat Tony Hawk Underground 1 once. If you play the story again your character just beats the shit out of Eric instead of doing that shot final skate battle again. "Winner gets the tape..." *BULLHAMMAH*

Burke getting his in "Aliens", even if we didn't get to see the kill itself. Tony beating Ralphie to death in "The Sopranos". Chief Brody blowing up the shark in "Jaws". Bob Ewell getting stabbed to death by Boo-, er, tripping and falling on his knife and dying, in "To Kill a Mockingbird".
