Are you surprised they haven't had a price increase since the launch, unlike other streaming services like Netflix had?

A little surprised. It won't be long, I think.

Boy did they ever pigeonhole themselves by (attempting to) get $9.99 over.

I could see maybe a premium service for $14.99 or something like that soon. They could be jerks and make the NXT Takeovers and PPVs part of the premium package and then the $9.99 package is just network shows.

I honestly think they just want to make sure the $9.99 thing they tried to get over faded out. Don't want to be like Subway where they advertised $5 footlongs constantly and then change policy while people still had the jingle stuck in their heads.
I know there was a lot of talk about WWE using different tiers for content if they hosted some other promotions, but who knows if that ever went anywhere. Can easily see them offering a "Wrestlemania Season Pass" deal where they try and convince people to fork over an extra few dollars from Rumble to WM.

Not really...
most subscription service prices are pretty stable.

Yeah, I can see tiered pricing for special content like other promotions, or access to Raw and SDL 24 hours later. But I don't see $9.99 disappearing completely.

I think it is the Premium model ($14.99 the price the've talked about) would have access to the PPVs, Takeover specials, NXT, the UK Indies they have contracts with (Progress and ICW, maybe OTT), some US indies, the archives and a few other things. The current price would have the live PPVs, NXT and Takeover on a delay, and the archive. Possibly an archive only for lower price point.

I'm not surprised, no. I've seen the reports of WWE considering tiered pricing levels, but I doubt it ever happens. WWE Network is already an extremely niche product to try and sell monthly memberships for and I don't see many people caring about independents or the archive stuff enough to shell out more money, especially after 3 years of paying one price for all of it (excluding independents, of course).

They probably need to finish editing out all the $9.99 references on the Network shows first.

so my fee increased a little bit for what it was normally per my credit card bill did this happened to anyone else? Where do you live? Some states have started taxing streaming services and downloads. Unfortunately that happened to me--WWE Network now costs me $10.69/month. It's still a good deal, I just wish that extra 70 cents was going to WWE (an entity I actually like) and not to, ah, where it is going. I would love to let out my true feelings on this, but I'm going to respect the board rules and just stop there.

I emailed the networks support to see if they could give me an explanation.

I'd pay more to be honest. £15 a month is nothing for how much I use it.

Seems like the premium tier is basically waiting for Vince's approval (mostly regarding adding indies to The Network since you really can't backtrack on that kind of addition) and I do remember them talking about adding a free tier which would basically be the WWE Youtube account but on The Network site. Boy did they ever pigeonhole themselves by (attempting to) get $9.99 over. Whether you loved or hated it, it did in fact get over. Everyone knows that's the price of the Network. Except for the part where The Network in $11.99 in my country. So the variable price internationally might have contributed to them downplaying $9.99.

Honestly a price raise would probably be something of a death knell for me. Even as it is I don't keep a consistent subscription since I don't really want to pay the $10 a month for it, I really just wait until there's a PPV I'm curious about, sign up the day of, and until it lapses watch whatever other PPVs I can get in that month period as well as 205 Live and Talking Smack. Never use the archives.
