How good of a job is John Lynch doing right now? Got two 1sts last year, trades for what appears to be a franchise QB, and still has a 1st, 2nd, and two 3rds in the upcoming draft. Some kinda wizardry.

Done to not give off the perception of McCarthy being a lame duck coach is my guess.

Some kinda wizardry. Ryan Pace is an idiot. He is, but that standalone trade isn't horrible. Yeah, Trubisky isn't the best prospect, but the cost of previous top 5 trades can and has been way worse than a couple 3rds. The Jimmy G trade wasn't thought to be overly bad or good at the time, about a fair price for notoriously overrated Pats back-ups. But in total, these deals seem fair at the time and as time goes on, the scales seem to tip. Which is impressive as a young GM.

Hahahahahahaha! Oh, man. He'll never f***ing leave. You poor bastards are stuck with him until the Apocalypse. There's a Tweet I found suggesting that Marvin Lewis outlives the Apocalypse.

Who would have thought hiring a retired safety announcer with zero front office experience actually ended up working out

Edgar Bennett is out as Packers' offensive coordinator and Alex Van Pelt is out as Packers' QB coach, sources tell Chris Mortensen and me. share www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/gb/green-bay-packersso, basically the bulk of the coaching staff and the GM are gone or placed else where in the team - but the inept head coach stays

It's weird that everyone major from the Packers coaching staff and their GM got fired or left on their own, but Mike McCarthy stays.
You can always get Ben McAdoo back!

I thought it just McCarthy telling Rogers to throw the ball.

Darnold and Rosen have both declared for the "Please Cleveland DONT pick me" Draft One goes to the Browns where they will be looked at as the savior of the city One goes to the Giants where they will either start or sit behind Eli for a year for a team with established pieces and OBJ to throw to

Yes I believe so unless they go after Barkley to give Manning an elite running back along with an elite WR in OBJ However, in saying that the biggest problem is still the OL so even if they draft either QB, don't expect to see them in the game

It all depends. At worst I see taking Baker Mayfield Assuming Giants take Barley or OL then you got the Colts next pick and Browns again The big question will be with Denver but I don't see them picking a QB because they are in win now mode. The best case scenario for Broncos is Giants take a QB and frees up Eli for Broncos
