That's absurd for a coach, especially one who's been away from the sidelines for years. As for the situation the Giants find themselves in, they really do need to build up the O-line and David Gettleman, much to my approval, has stated that rebuilding the offensive line is a priority of it. It's a nice contrast to Jerry Reese playing fantasy football the past couple of years. That said, I don't think you can really afford to pass up Rosen or Darnold. Both have the potential to be franchise quarterbacks and Eli's getting up there. Drafting Barley would be a huge mistake with how terrible their o-line currently is at blocking for the run, which is the major reason why they've been dead last in the running game the past couple of years.

Did Gruden bring Al Davis back to life or something? How could he be worth that much money?

Breh F**** This either is going to be the worst contract given out ever or the best I just don't see the hype in Gruden anymore. They are paying him like he's going to be better than Bill

I say draft Darnold or Rosen You can't pass up this oppurtunity to give yourself a potential winning situation for the next season and they still have other picks in the draft to address their needs. I mean the Giants had a bad a year and they aren't as bad as their record indicates except the O-Line does suck horribly

10 years/$100 million for Chucky. Goodnight, he better bring at least five Lombardi Trophies to Las Vegas at that cost.

Yeah, I don't buy this Patriots dissension story and from what I have heard, not many football fans do either (even the ones that hate them)

I mean, if you can't lure him out, you get a coach who's coached in the last 10 years and roll the dice. Gruden may not be better than what's out there

Yeah, I don't buy this Patriots dissension story and from what I have heard, not many football fans do either (even the ones that hate them) I think there's some truth to some of it, but I also think there's a lot of conjecture involving "unnamed sources" that should give some level of pause. ESPN's "bombshell" is based around a lot of stuff that sports radio around here has been talking/speculating about for months.

I love Gruden as a commentary guy, but he's been out of the league way too long to be coaching, especially at that contract --- but I will wish him the best of luck

I have absolutely nothing against Gruden.
But I hate the Raiders. So I hope this is the biggest, most expensive flop in the history of coaching.

Apparently his staff will also be the most expensive the NFL with the coordinators getting 4 years guaranteed and the rest two guaranteed.

That contract is absurd. This reeks of Joe Gibbs part two. Ten years out of the game is a lifetime. Especially for a coach who went his last six seasons without winning a playoff game.

Is Brady's doctor a svengali or something? I would be pissed, too, if nobody wanted to use my doctor. Brady's trainer is an absolute snake oil salesman, complete creep. His training methods have validity. It's all deep muscle conditioning. Basically extreme stretching, lots of resistance training and a measured diet. But he also has claimed to be able to cure cancer and sold an elder that in short can help prevent concussions.
