Liverpool's attacking tonight has been a joy to watch and their defending has been abysmal. Hmmm, I think I've said something similar before.

Not for nothing, but I think there's way too many strong teams this year. Even pot 4 seems rather strong this year, with Feyenoord, Celtic and Sporting which would usually be pot 3 teams.

Waiting for group of death featuring Real Madrid, Manchester City, Napoli and RB Leipzig. And the "group of death" of Benfica, Sevilla, Olympiacos and Maribor.

United, City and Liverpool should feel quietly confident, while Chelsea have a bit more of a fight on their hands.
Celtic and Spurs? Ouch, bro.

Good luck to Spurs, they're going to need it especially with their form at Wembley.
Not the worst group for Celtic to get put in, hopefully we can pinpoint the two Anderlecht games and get into the Europa League. Potentially sneak a point against PSG or Bayern at home as well. Won't be easy though, I watched Anderlecht in the Europa League against Man United and they had them on the ropes at times.

Question: Since the next set of World Cup qualifying games are coming up, would any posts about it be done here, or should it be its own thread?
I should add that I'm making a thing that's explaining the current standings and scenarios for each conference, so that's why I'm wondering if it should be its own thread.

Question: Since the next set of World Cup qualifying games are coming up, would any posts about it be done here, or should it be its own thread? The qualifying games are usually brought up in the main football thread and are generally pretty sparse. I figure a separate thread would die on the vine in short order.

Spurs are dead meat.
All the other English teams should get out of those groups.

We keep all talk to this thread except for when there's a World Cup or it's a summer where a European Championship takes place.
