I say the best two belong to one man Jared Lorenzen. The rather portly backup qb known as the Hefty Lefty and Pillsbury Throwboy

In 1995 Ben Ikin made history by becoming the youngest player in State Of Origin rugby league ever. Due to this fact he was given the nickname Fetus.

My mom got me a subscription to ESPN The Magazine when it first started up. It actually had an article on nicknames called, "Where Have all the Stinkys gone?"
Claiming that nicknames had become to flashy and abstract, and Mark Schlereth was the last big player nicknamed "Stinky."

In the sake of simplicity, I think a great name was former Dallas Cowboys DE Ed "Too Tall" Jones.
