It's been said for years: if you're watching something that makes you unhappy, or at least makes you feel just kind of bored, there's little reason to stick with it. I know I'm not the best case study on this, as even growing up I never watched WWF consistently for more than maybe two to three years at a stretch before taking a break from it for awhile, but years ago I realized that WWE wasn't a company that booked to my personal tastes as a fan...not a condemnation of them or WWE fans, just my own preferences...and so I stopped watching beyond going to somebody's house for an occasional PPV or a few minutes while channel surfing. There's so much other, and for my personal tastes better, wrestling out there especially nowadays that it really doesn't feel like missing much, though again I can't claim to be one of those people who've watched week in and week out without a break since 1992 or what have you.
If you really dislike the way WWE is doing things and want them to change their booking, however, then you really have to consider canceling your Network subscription, if you have one. Otherwise they really have no reason to alter anything about their style or presentation, as they've got your money, anyway. For some people there's a moral component involved with not giving money to a promotion or whatever, but if you just hate the booking, the only way to change that is via what amounts to a boycott until you see some positive change.
Personally, I don't think WWE will be changing much any time soon, at least not in terms of how they present their weekly shows and main roster PPVs, but as I don't watch much I never had a reason to buy into the Network, regardless, appealing though the old school archives might be.

I’m done for a good while. That was one of the worse booked shows I’ve seen a while. So I was already falling in and out because I was busy. But I can’t do this shit anymore when this company won’t even take risks. Braun is ruined and Roman got his latest coronation. Nope. Not doing this anymore. If Braun cannot ever lose without being ruined, there wasn't much to him, was there? As for Roman winning, the whole thing was booked to that conclusion. If Cena cuts his balls off on the mic and ridicules him endlessly and RR loses the match, if it were anyone else people would complain if Cena won. Wasn't a great show all around, I agree, but I'll give you this ... you're honest. You didn't get the results you wanted (which is to say the guys you wanted to win didn't win) and you say you're leaving because of it. Most people dance around it and won't admit it's over simple "my guy didn't win," so props to you. Oh, see you Monday.

Agreed. That's the best thing to do. I got tired of the booking, haven't watched anything but Mania (with the NXT ppvs that air the night before) in recent years. Maybe SummerSlam. I'd much rather watch something I'm not going to question "why did I just watch three hours of that nonsense?"

He literally said it wasn’t a well booked show and the main event stuff factored into that. If he was simply admitting “My Guy didn’t win”, he would have said that. And yeah, the Roman thing was pretty much leading to that and many of us knew that (including me because they see money in a WrestleMania rematch from a show that lost the company money) but that doesn’t mean people have to LIKE it.

You don't get it, dude. Lesnar HAS to beat Braun, because MMA is better than wrestling, duh. Brock is a REAL fighter, not a phony fighter like these wrestlers. Why would you be watching wrestling if you didn't want to see that?

In what ways was the show itself not well booked, just so I understand you? RR beating Cena was not very good leading up to it, but it was logically booked for Roman to win given what went before. So that's not bad booking, it's just an unpopular result; which is to say, the 'wrong' guy won. Which is what I said. Braun was built as a credible threat to Lesnar, who has been booked stronger than literally anyone in WWE history including Hulk Hogan as far as being made to look invincible, and Braun looked more than credible in the match even though he lost. (On a side note, I don't get the 'It only took one F5 to beat Braun' comments; I watched the match and it took that PLUS like six suplexes in succession AND a long kamura lock, which Braun sold incredibly well, to beat him. And I see posts all the time about how finishers should always finish matches if they're hit, which to me is ridiculous as it creates a kayfabe canon that every single wrestler has one single move that can defeat any opponent if they execute it.) The worst booked thing to me in the actual PPV was Wyatt not going over non demon Finn, but I don't see tons of complaints about that because Finn is popular.

I have been debating for a while and I finally decided to cancel my network subscription. Braun losing was really just the final straw, but with Edge and Christian, Legends with JBL and other shows I enjoyed the most getting cancelled, along with a product I no longer enjoy, it was just a matter of time. I just don't watch it enough to keep it, I rarely watch Raw and quit watching Smackdown since Road Dogg ruined it. Maybe I renew around the Royal Rumble, who knows?

I don't watch the weekly shows, I watch the PPVs, but even last night I fell asleep half way through Cena/Reigns.
However, I still plan on going to Mania in Nawlins. That shit is just a fun weekend, I don't care if the actual Mania card isn't all that.

I enjoyed the entire show except for Enzo/Neville & Lesnar/Strowman. Everyone worked their asses off. I have been a wrestling fan for 30 years. I've been through the good and the bad. I watched the rise of Hulkamania, the crap-tastic 90s, the Monday Night War & the awesome Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression, and whatever era we are in now. I will be a wrestling fan until the day I die. I don't like some stuff, but that is not the wrestlers' fault. It's creative & Vince McMahon. I watch to support the wrestlers that are busting their asses every night for my enjoyment. If you don't feel like that, it's your opinion.

I'm going to RAW in 2 weeks, but that's because I have a good friend & we get to eat out and go mall hopping beforehand. Not looking forward to f***ing Enzo as champion.
I keep saying I won't watch... But then I do. I do have this psychological issue where I'm compulsively wanting to know what happens, and unlike TV shows or books that often have conclusions, I can't tear my head away because this is a never-ending cycle.
But this applies to following WWE. Whenever I say I'm done for the night in the threads, that's after what I wanted to see because I have no incentive to staying up until 11:15 or so to watch a boring match or crappy angle (Braun being neutered & Big Ass being injured were the downfall to the two only things I cared about). I still watch Smackdown, but between Jinder as Champion, Bitch Ziggler, Boring Ass Owens, and guys disappearing for months for no reason... I lose more and more reasons to care.
I wish I could rip myself away for my own sanity... But I can't.

I don't think I disliked it at much as others but it definitely fell flat for me in the end no doubt. I'm not worried about Braun too much, he's come off losses before that we don't mention anymore, all that matters is that they give him good followup here.
Cena/Roman and Bray/Balor were the worst for me of the night.

I'll come back when Roman's gone. There's no point in continuing this ride, they're never going to get off his dick and I'm just... I want off this ride. It feels like they're genuinely out to just crush people's spirits. Yup. It's not worth the inevitable anger anymore. What's the point when you know the ending is going to make you and about 90% of everyone else pissed off. They broke me tonight. Absolutely broke me. At least I have 10$ a month to spend on something else now. We have a photo of the WWE and their fans
