Ugh. They shouldn't count days where the champ is on vacation. His tracker should be more like 12 days.

210+ Days now as champion. This is the title reign that will never end.
Brock Lesnar - 210+ Days Kevin Owens - 188 Days Goldberg - 28 Days Finn Balor - 1 Day
If makes it to Wrestlemania 34, that would be 371 days. So Brock is going to have one of those rare 1+ year runs. I don't know about anyone else, but they are close enough to Punk by that point. I say sign Brock to a 4 month extension, he drops the title as Summerslam, with a 504 day title run.

What does it matter if he's close to Punk considering it isn't even the same title? It's not like Punk has any sort of actual record. The sad thing about this Lesnar 1 year run is that he's doing this after the Goldberg 90 second squash, where the bloom was officially off the rose and he has nothing left to offer. Survivor Series last year should have been the endgame for Lesnar's entire WWE career, and WWE just doesn't grasp this.

Yeah, people need to stop talking about "Punk's record". It wasn't a record anything, it was just a talking point.

239 Days. It's safe to say, he's going to get a 365 day run.

Aside from the usual bluster, it's pretty bizarre that a relatively new title like the Universal one has spent the majority of its debut year off television.

He can hold it as long as he wants, it doesn't really feel like a World title yet. Just a prop to give to Roman.
At least we've not wasted most of the WWE title (the biggest title in wrestling) on some no name jobber at the same time.

266+ days.
And the beat goes on, and NO one ever looks like a valuable threat anymore.
Sad the shape of this title.

The only megalong reign that has felt even kind of organic and warranted has been the recent New Day megarun, where even if that was something that drew on way too long, New Day were super over the whole time and it was designed to keep milking that very over top act a whole bunch. This is a year-long pall over the whole card that makes everyone else look bad and is designed to make Roman look strong in the end, and everything about it feels so artificial even removed from the purposes behind it.

Say what you want about Jinder, but the WWE title still comes across as a more prestigious title.
Kevin Owens' reign was very demeaning to the belt, followed by Goldberg's useless reign, now it is probably just used as display while Brock is on vacation.
Soon we get to look forward to Roman dominating with the belt. *yawn*
