Still in awe of how the Celtics look this year. I remember a national TV host ( or radio host, I forget who) mentioning after the Boston fans cheered for Gordon Hayward that they'd NEVER do that for Kyrie Irving (the whole White v Black thing).
Kyrie Irving is about to become the second biggest sports star in Boston. If they succeed under him he'll be the biggest in three years.

Don't get me wrong I think Gary Harris will be good but I feel Denver paid for what he could, not what he is They have a good young core tho and I wonder if they give Mudiay more time because I do think he can be a Rondo type player or at worst be on the level of Payton from Orlando

They gave Murray some run at the end of last year and he played ok. I think they're gonna give Mudiay more chances to prove himself, because Murray and Harris is kinda repetitive spot up shooters and they want Murray to lead scoring for the 2nd team. But Murray is probably the better player.

I understand why they drafted Murray because he was the best of the board at the point in the draft and could potentially be better than both Mudiay and Harris I think eventually they move Mudiay for a veteran. Someone like Reggie Jackson from Detroit or even Eric Bledsoe from Phoenix but they probably have to add additional pieces to make the Bledsoe trade work

He'd be a great fit for their pace.

Yea with Jokic being as athletic and able as he is they should continue to be a running team Adding Milsap was a good fit and I think adding a head first veteran PG like Bledsoe can only be good for them

As much as I'd like to see that from a competitive standpoint, I doubt it will amount to anything. No Owner in the East especially is going to vote in favor of potentially boxing their team out of the playoffs.

Yea, pretty much They aren't trying to give up playoff revenue and then there's the issue of owners who "lose money" I think it has a chance of getting through but it's not going to be easy

Kings and Lakers putting on a heckuva "show" for NBA TV. The Kings best player is either De'Arron Fox or Zach Randolph. It's going to be a long long year of losing. At least there's a future, I think.

Sixers and Embiid agree on a $148 million extension. Big risk, but they had to do it

Steep price for a player who hasn't even played a rookie season worth of games yet
No doubt if healthy he can be dominant but the disclaimer is if healthy

Dude has averaged less than 11 games played a year and they backed the Brinks truck up. Some other team would have too. Tough position. I'd have dealt him tho. Dominant player but too risky, and they've got a good team outside of him. Simmons looked like the real deal Holyfield in pre-season. Him, Fultz, Saric, Covington, and Redick. Good group. Embiid could put them way over the top, but we all saw this in Bynum and look how well that worked out.

When healthy Embiid is not a good player, he's a great player, and I believe that he would've been an all star and all nba if he played more games. I'm a big fan of the guy for his and the Sixers' sake I hope he plays at least more than 60 games this year.
