Dude has averaged less than 11 games played a year and they backed the Brinks truck up. Some other team would have too. Tough position. I'd have dealt him tho. Dominant player but too risky, and they've got a good team outside of him. Simmons looked like the real deal Holyfield in pre-season. Him, Fultz, Saric, Covington, and Redick. Good group. Embiid could put them way over the top, but we all saw this in Bynum and look how well that worked out. Don't remind me that the stupid Lakers chose Bynum instead of CP3...fml

Steep price for a player who hasn't even played a rookie season worth of games yet No doubt if healthy he can be dominant but the disclaimer is if healthy What a tough choice to make. When healthy Embiid is not a good player, he's a great player, and I believe that he would've been an all star and all nba if he played more games. I'm a big fan of the guy for his and the Sixers' sake I hope he plays at least more than 60 games this year. It’s a risk they had to take considering the whole trust in the process bullshit but yeah this could either be really good or end up really bad The talent is there but knee and foot injuries to big men is always the scariest thing for them

A healthy process could be even better than Boogie.

Sixers and Embiid agree on a $148 million extension. Big risk, but they had to do it
Stress Fracture in his back Two surgeries on his foot Torn Meniscus.
23 Years old... he's not going to get healthier.
I mean, the ceiling is incredibly high for him, his numbers were staggering for minutes played last season. But his list of injuries aren't just troubling but the ridiculous amount of recovery time is a massive red flag.

What he just did tonight, I'll just take my chances. 22 points seven rebounds in just 15 minutes. Holy f***.

Dunn was so bad that he made Ricky Rubio look great by comparison.

Problem is Jimmy and the coach relationship was done and they were better to get value instead of losing him but I the value wasn't the most they could get Dunn is essentially not looking good at all. I do like Markkanen tho, he can play

Hoiberg is a good coach. It might take him another team before he becomes a good NBA coach, but I like him and what he did at Iowa St.
Chicago was just in a pickle. Butler wanted out. It's easier to trade him and try to rebuild than to fire the coach and try to build another team for a new coach's system. LaVine is good. Dunn has been bad, but still has potential. They just needed to ask for more. Like, why are you trading a superstar and swapping 1st round picks? They seemed to take Minny's first offer, or just aren't very good at negotiating. Or maybe they didn't want to trade him in-Conference, so they hamstrung themselves.

The bulls are dookie I think they're worse than the nets I actually think the Nets should be better than they were last season. They have no reason to tank, as their unprotected first-round pick belongs to the Cavaliers; they acquired D'Angelo Russell, Timofey Mozgov, and DeMarre Carroll in the off-season; and there are teams far worse than them who will be tanking in 2017-18. Vegas doesn't even have them projected as the worst team in the NBA from a win-loss perspective. I think Chicago, Atlanta, Indiana, Orlando, Sacramento, Phoenix, and New York could all be worse than the Nets.

After seeing preseason ball, the prediction for my Kings? 15 wins. And even that's being generous.
Fox may be too small and frail, and immediatly missed time in both Summer League and Preseason ball. I'm worried he's going to miss a lot of games... He's electric when on the court though.
Frank Mason is very clearly the Kings second best young player. And he can stay healthy, so he may even have a leg up on Fox.
Hield is an inefficient chucker. And, no fault to his own, I'm always going to hold The Trade against him.
Justin Jackson may eventually carve out a solid role, as a Tayshaun Prince like player. He's not there yet though, being invisible in 4 of 5 preseason games.
WCS is awful.
Skal hasn't taken any step forward, and maybe even is going backwards.
Bogdan looks... okay. Maybe even solid, but I don't have a good read on him yet.
Malachi Richardson and PapaG can't even crack the rotation, and have looked lousy in their limited minutes.
The Kings best player right now? 36 year old Zach Randolph. This season is going to suck. I miss DeMarcus Cousins.

They are young and they will no doubt be a lottery team but I don't think they will necessarily be the doormat of the West Randolph and Carter are good trade pieces for later in the season but yeah it's going to be a learning experience for that young squad At least they are finally rebuilding and not just bullshitting

And I think he'll be expendable by mid-season (if Fox's keeps healthy) because he and Mason are the most ready rookies.

I think he won't be tradable until the off season unless Fox just starts completely balling but even then Hill can play both 1 and 2 so his versatility would probably fit better If a team goes down with an injury and needs a veteran PG then yeah he's def going to be an option for a good few teams but I don't think Kings are in the interest of moving him too soon unlike Zach or VC who are up there in years and you can get value for them
