Can we change the thread title from "Death of a Dynasty?" to "The Death of Nick Foles Career"? You mean Nick Folk?

It might just be me, but the Patriots have looked distinctly mortal so far this season.

It might just be me, but the Patriots have looked distinctly mortal so far this season. They have. There's some serious issues they need to fix. And while I'm certainly pretty concerned, I've also seen how this movie ends. Until January rolls around and they're not in it, I'm going to put my money on them making the AFC title game.

WTF happened to Brady's o-line? I heard the commentator just say they're the same guys... and he's been sacked more in 4.5 games than he did in 12 last year? Makes no sense. The spotlight shines brightest on Nate Solder because he's Tom Brady's blindside protection and he's regressed pretty significantly this season, to the point that people suspect he's playing through an injury, but the entire line has struggled this season. But, to be fair, the Patriots have gone up against some pretty loaded front sevens to start the season. In the first four weeks alone, they had to deal with Kansas City, Houston, and Carolina, all of whom are loaded at defensive line and linebacker. But making the Tampa Bay pass rush look proficient was definitely cause for concern. Fortunately, the Patriots have a few days to get back on track before their next game, which fortunately is a very winnable game against the Jets, then it's back home for the Falcons and Chargers before the bye week. All they need to do is get to that week nine by with a record of 6-2 or 5-3 and things should start trending upward in the second half. The Patriots for the past decade or so tend to be a team that peaks in November and December and they're lucky to have a schedule loaded with the likes of Miami twice, Buffalo twice, and the Jets at home. 12-4 is still well within the realm of possibility.

I worry about both lines going forward this year. I think the defensive backfield is too talent rich to play poorly all year. THe defensive line is a HUGE question mark, and the play of the O-line has been atrocious.

In a Fantasy battle of the old guard, should I start Frank Gore or Marshawn Lynch tomorrow?

I may actually watch that Bears-Vikings game just to see how bad it will be.

Not gonna lie, it is amazing to see a weaker looking Pats team. Most hated team ever.
I am a piece of shit Cowboys fan with less hope for this season. Lee isn't playing today, hurts us against Rodgers and co., but, what else is new, really.

The Manning statue was enshrined yesterday, and it looks amazing in person.
Today, the #18 is permanently retired, as well.
