That Rock/Vin Diesel thing wasn't a work? No, seems like there was some real animosity there with Vin acting like a diva during production but they allegedly hashed it out. F&F was his baby, maybe he felt like Rock was taking over it.

Fast and Furious belongs to Rock now. Vin Diesel needs to accept this.

At first I thought the dude was just being greedy because he (and a few others) coast on these films for their livelihoods and they think the Rock is hurting them, but I think it goes deeper for the guy. Tyrese is embroiled in a court battle for his daughter that he is accused of abusing and he's losing his mind. He's certainly not helping his own cause with outburst like this. Yea, sadly he's not helping himself. People are going to feel sorry for you about the situation with your daughter but The Rock has nothing to do with that. It's not like he hasn't been in Entertainment for a long time so where did the money go. Besides that, attacking someone else because you are in trouble is not going to play well Ultimately, this is about his mindset with this stuff going on with his daughter but also trying to get a paycheck and for some reason The Rock is the reason he's not getting paid

Rock, how dare you accept a movie role paying millions of dollars without considering how it would affect Tyrese!

Fast and Furious belongs to Rock now. Vin Diesel needs to accept this. There's a reason Vin Diesel hasn't really said too much He knows this franchise is no longer his tho he knows he's still a central character at least for the "main story" and not the spin off shit they are planning Trust and believe if Vin was still in control that's who Tyrese be calling

Fire him and cast an actor from The Raid franchise as a replacement character. Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian or Julie Estelle aka Hammer Girl.

Good lord that 2nd one was a fun movie but goddamn he went way overboard with having more space The 1st movie was briskly paced because they were essentially in one setting but he def used that bigger budget for everything

It was the whole "double agent" thing. I don't come to a sequel to the Raid to see a character's deep infiltration into the Indonesian Mafia. I came to see Iko Uwais kick those dudes in the face.

Is this an elaborate scheme to get out of his contract? Because if it comes down to him or Rock they're going to choose Rock every time. Also guess he isn't THAT desperate for money if he's willing to quit the series over not liking a dude.

Well yea that's what I meant Rock is the main central character and it wouldn't do him any good to go against Rock when it benefits them both
