At this point I just want to witness just how bad it is. Sad thing is in terms of the premise I thought it had potential.

All this time and money spent for reshoots only to release it on hulu
Between this and the Dark Phoenix budget ballooning to 200mil Fox is determined not to let the Marvel license go without going full Dixie Carter

I feel bad for the actors of "New Mutants", if that is the case, do any of them still have a film out this year?

Taylor-Joy is a rising star, she'll be fine and is better off people forgetting this mess. Maise Williams has Game of Thrones: The Final Season in April, which is bigger than most feature releases. Charlie Heaton has Stranger Things season 3, not as big, but still very popular. Moonstar and Sunspot actors don't have anything scheduled on IMDB for 2019 however.

And New Mutants which was to be a theatrical release going to Hulu they aint profiting off of it at all. And just for the sake of interest here is what comes out before and after Dark Phoenix May Detective pikachu John Wick chapter 3 Aladdin June 7th is Dark Phoenix June 14th is the new MIB June 21st is gawd damn Toy Story 4 And then one would have to think how long will infinity war end game will remain #1 and even then the drop off probably wont be all that much untill Aladdin at earliest and Toy Story 4 at latest.

Wolverine got to bow out with Logan. The rest of the X-Universe is bowing out with the gigantic wet fart that is Dark Phoenix and the dribbley follow-through New Mutants.
Deadpool aside, it kinda sums up Fox's handling of the overall property, really.

I'm pretty lukewarm on the franchise on the whole (and really just X-Men period being honest - certainly done good things and there certainly are good movies, just they're really not personal favorites) but it is pretty sad. The first movie arguably saved the superhero genre coming off of stuff like Batman & Robin and Steel and for all its messy contradictions and nonsensical timeline shifts, it's still been running continuously for 20 years now. It deserves a better sendoff than what it's getting.

Personally I've really liked the relaunched McAvoy/Fassbender X-Universe films more than the Stewart/McKellen films.

Personally I've really liked the relaunched McAvoy/Fassbender X-Universe films more than the Stewart/McKellen films. I think First Class and Days of Future Past are better than X-Men and X2. Apocalypse is not good, but I think it's better than Last Stand. Both versions are blessed in having excellent actors in the Xavier and Magneto roles, which definitely helps, and obviously Jackman ties both together. I'm also one of those who far prefer Jennifer Lawrence's Mystique over Rebecca Romijn. Lawrence's version, flawed as it is, is a character, while Romijn's is pretty much a plot device with almost no character development.

Deadpool was suppose to be canceled until Reynolds himself stepped in and leaked footage out of it

I thought I read Legion is getting a Season 3. Season 2 is still on my DVR and I haven't watched it yet. How was it? (I know this is OT)

How was it? (I know this is OT) I found it moved incredibly slow all season and at times just seemed to be weird for the sake of being weird. That said it does come together at the end with an amazing season finale.

Yeah, this is never coming out, is it? You know, it's not often that a film makes it far enough that trailers have been released just to end up in development hell, but here we are.
