Probable language warning, though not watched it yet.
It is weird he's gone through the Friday the 13th and Halloween movies on a regular basis for a long time now but barely scratched this series, now that I think about it.

My favorite of the Elm Street movies, probably.
Mixed feelings about the mental hospital, just since you get both a sympathetic look at the teens and well, Freddy's mom's backstory which is the whole different direction.

I think he keeps the Elm Street series to each movie's 30th Birthday...he did mention that with Elm Street 1 and 2...

Not my favorite Elm Street film, but that vein/fall to his death is just brutal. It is one of the better NoES films though.

Those two have actual days/events/holidays to tie into, though. That said, I think it's even weirder that he's managed to do all of the Sleepaway Camps and all (but one?) of the Silent Night Deadly Nights, but has only done one Texas Chainsaw (the original).

Good point. Particularly given there's no shortage of stuff to make fun of in those. In particular would love to see him do 4.

Maybe he should do the entire Witchcraft series, that would keep him busy for a while.

That's probably the biggest reason he doesn't do many of the long-running horror franchises that have more than 2-3 entries; not only would they take forever to get through, given the way he usually spaces things out, but he's good friends with Lupa and Phelous and the two of them have covered most of them.

Boy, do I ever love NOES 3. It's not only my favorite Nightmare movie, it's high up on the list of favorite horror movies period.

Come to think of it, has he ever done any of the films in the "House" series?

Probably my favorite Freddy film after Freddy 2. I see a typo...you put a 2 at the end of your sentence, I'm sure by accident.

Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors remains my favorite horror movie. It's number one for me in the horror genre. Been a fan of the flick since its release.

I see a few reviews of it on YT but not by anyone I recognize. Lupa/Allison Pregler and Phelous did the House movies on Movie Nights, so there's them. I didn't even know about any but the first two until I saw the reviews.

I'm always tempted to rank part 3 above the first one. Love the dream sequences and special effects. There's also a tinge of sadness to the film. Something about the helplessness of the kids' plight and the continual ignorance of the adults adds an emotional layer to it.
One thing I like about the NOES films is how they often feel just as much like dark teen dramas as they do slasher flicks. They touch upon a lot of issues that wouldn't be out of place on an episode of Degrassi (suicide, pregnancy, substance abuse, etc.).
