We're wrapping up another year and with it we have a small handful of villains to add to the Marvel Cinematic Universe's rogue gallery. So let's discuss our favorites and do our best to identify the MCU's top bad guy or gal.

Going down the list, I'm surprised there's been a couple I've really liked. Gotta give it to Kingpin though.

Loki, Kingpin, Zemo. I haven't seen Ragnarok yet so I wasn't able to form an opinion on Hela.

I haven't seen every Marvel movie or any of the shows, but honestly Loki and Ego are the only ones I'd even call good. Marvel's villains are their biggest consistent failing.
Edit: I actually forgot about Zemo, he's good too.

Loki, Kingpin, and Ward... though the latter really wore out his welcome long before he was finally shuffled off.

Kingpin is still tops thus far. Then Loki and Kilgrave.
Vulture I think should count too since Iron Man was in that flick, so he gets a vote.
The rest, while I've liked them have all been considerably weaker. Though there are some good ones: Ultron, Justin Hammer etc, they just haven't topped those four above.

You're missing some good villainy if you haven't seen any of the shows. They actually have more time to develop their characters.

Vincent D'Onofrio is so good as Kingpin. To me it's JK Simmons levels for how much he IS the character.
Gonna give the nod to Cottonmouth too. Even though he was kind of Kingpin lite, the actor did an amazing job.

Reserving final decision until after Black Panther. Michael B Jordan is already streets ahead in terms of MCU villains from the trailers alone.

Ego, Kingpin and Kilgrave.
Not in that order.
I really liked how they handled Ego and not only did they get such a comic book only character to work they did it really well.
Kingpin well has been talked about constantly, he pretty much owned that character.
and Kilgrave... Tennant really played up the sociopathic monster aspects of the character unbelievably well. He was occasionally charming and sympathetic... but it came out rather quickly that it was an act and it was just another way that he could control people.

I haven't seen the latest season of Shield, Peggy Carter or Inhumans. How are those and their respective villains?

Michael Keaton's Vulture is up there, I feel like he was developed a lot more than most of them and Keaton is just naturally charismatic and memorable.

He has some awesome stuff and Keaton kills it, but he spends a large chunk of the movie not really actually doing anything and he's kind of an idiot. Though it was kind of a refreshing change of pace to have a Spider-Man villain who they really aren't trying to make all that sympathetic.

The hell is Erik Killmonger? Was Victor Von Doom too subtle?
