If you're wondering why she won completely clean and retired with the title, there you go

F***ing selfish As Mister Pigwell pointed out even Hulk dropped the title to Yokozuna (He didn't want to Bret but at least he dropped the belt) Someone got over on Hulk Hogan on his way out but meanwhile Gail doesn't have enough sense to put over the younger generation. You are going to be working with these girls in some type of agent role, how the f*** are they supposed to respect you and come to you for advice when you were completely selfish Majority of wrestlers leave the game on their backs or at least in their twilight years put someone over and she has done neither. Get Rosemary and Allie out of there

Kim is an egomaniac that only returned to tna to become the knockout champion forever. She legit thinks she's a legend and not someone who just wrestled in a dilapidated church with no running water.

Gail: OK here's my idea...
I steam roll everyone... and then afterwards everyone gushes about how great I am ... and that I'm like 700 times better than they coudl ever hope to be.
TNA: Sounds great!

Didn’t Trish stratus win the belt in her last match in wwe? bit of a non issue here really considering Gail Kim is a better worker than trish was.

Eh, at least Trish put some people over over the course of her career. Also, I really wouldn't even call Gail a GOOD worker, much less better than Trish. Never had any idea what on earth the appeal of her is beyond that without her we wouldn't have International Woman.

Trish also wasn't booked as so far above anyone else like Gail has been. Lita was booked as her equal as was Mickie whereas TNA presents Gail like nobody can hang with her and that everything has to be about her. Do you remember the Allie vs Maria feud which turned into Maria vs Gail Kim?

Trish put over people in WWE Also her last match wasn't with younger wrestlers, it was against her rival who she finally one upped in her last match I don't give a damn about who can work better, when you have stacked up the amount of accolades Kim has, she should be putting people over. She did not do so in her last match nor her last few years there

Who proceeded to get her ass kissed for her HOF induction and win the title the same night To put it in perspective she has won the KO title the night she went into the HOF and the night she retired

Yeah Borash told him it was because of Respect and that she's the best female wrestler of all time, Borash is full of shit. Bullshit. Gail was a fine wrestler for her time but if you put prime Gail against the Horsewomen she's 5th in that slot It's just common sense really. If you are on your way out the door and you see a bunch of young hungry wrestlers why wouldn't you put them over. For as much as other greats gave to you, you have given nothing back for these young wrestlers who probably have looked up to you as a competitor No one should have to tell Gail to not be selfish on her last legs, she should want to help the other woman achieve greatness off the back of her accolades

Gail Kim could have wrote herself going out and taking a dump on the Womens Title and it would have had the exact same effect as what happened.

...Ok.
So, let me make this clear now. I am not a fan of this or of Gail Kim in general.
THAT BEING SAID...for as much as people make the trope of "leaving on your back" when guys leave a territory...how many top names actually did that in a clean manner? I feel like if you mde some kind of list, you would find out that most didn't. At most, they did some kind of screwy finish and quietly bailed like they had instant transmission.
Now, all that being said, at least a lot of those folks didn't leave with the f***ing belt, lmao. Even if it was in a bullshit match that didn't help anybody, they let go of the title. So, this is pretty ass and I'm not trying to defend the decision. Just kinda thinking out loud that this really isn't a uncommon thing, which makes sense when you consider the egos of wrestlers.

Gail wouldn't even crack the top 30.
Nice to see JB continue his role as company stooge

If creative came together and said, "You know what? We want to put Gail over as a legend. We want to put her over as the best of all time, and out of respect for her... we want her to go out with the title." It'd be a tough pill to swallow, but I could understand it.
The fact Gail had a hand in it.... no matter her role, just sounds fishy. For all we know, she may have fought tooth and nail against that idea and was overruled in the end. But just the fact she had involvement in the creative decisions of the match just make it a less special moment all around.

I would like to say this is some kind of big shock but who would I be kidding. The only thing shocking about her last match would have been if she wasn't the agent.
