Some of these numbers are surprisingly low looking to me. Some of the names on the lower end of the list like Cabana and Joey Ryan can probably hustle their way to a decent payday though on merch and meet and greets.

If they're under contract to Impact, then Impact takes priority and I end up with disappointed fans when EC3 is a no-show.

I guess those at the lower do about 5 or more shows a month. While those at the top probably only do one show a month.
Or RVD’s case when his “friend” gets in the top shelf “merchandise”

This is why I don’t always agree with “they should leave the WWE midcard and make a killing on the indie scene” argument. A guaranteed healthy pay check (plus medical) and not being a main eventer is way more agreeable than breaking out on your own if this is anything to go by.

This isn't really anything to go by though; Aries talked about making more in six weeks on the indies than he made in four months in WWE, and his booking fee is absent from this "not necessarily even confirmed" list. Then there's the matter of spots in ROH or Japan, the thriving UK scene for guys like Neville who would likely be going back home and not have to travel too far to work with companies there, taking a much bigger cut of merch money which is totally omitted from this list entirely... You may not be making John Cena money but this "there is more money on the indies now than ever" is not smoke fans are blowing up peoples' asses with empty hype, it's coming from within the business itself.

At the moment, if I could find the rat bastard who keyed my car, I would book him in a hardcore match with New Jack, and spread the rumor Mr Scratchy Scratchy called him the N word. $700 well spent. Wait add a hundy for the ring.

I was gonna make a joke that I could afford to book Chuck Taylor for my birthday, but it wouldn't be a stretch now...
f*** I don't think Chuckie T even makes up for gas and the hotel.

His merch table was right next to our commentary/video table. And he was busy most of the show selling stuff. He had piles of promo pics from his time in TNA. Which according to what Joey told us he got for free when he left TNA. So the pics cost him nothing and he sells them for 5 each.

I am surprised that Ricochet is the highest guy without WWE experience.

FAN should scrape together a couple thousand bucks to have a Sabu vs Hornswoggle in an Turkey-on-a-pole exploding cage death match with special ref Tommy Dreamer crying over the wasted turkey.

Some of these are pretty modest. If there wasn't a LU Season 4 coming, I'd drop on a paycheck on getting Fenix and Callahan/Crane to beat each other up in my backyard, so I could get some resolution to that angle. That is, uh, if they're cool with not having a ring. (There's a fence, though! We can call it a cage match!)

Is it typical or expected that a booker pay for travel/lodging?

Is it typical or expected that a booker pay for travel/lodging? Depends on star power I would imagine. Guys like Rey, RVD, and Alberto are getting their stuff covered for sure. A guy like Kongo Kong is getting a Cracker Barrel gift certificate.

Right, plus there's the fact that WWE doesn't provide medical to talent (outside of, I believe, hospital costs if the wrestler is hurt during a WWE show), as that's out of pocket for the wrestlers. I doubt a lot of this list is fully accurate, but it's interesting to think of the strategies involved in setting one's price, e.g. do you charge less despite previous TV exposure because it'll mean more bookings and more chances to sell merchandise? If Joey Ryan and Colt Cabana don't charge that much, I'd have to think that's a huge factor in both of their thinking.

I wonder what Jose Lothario's booking fee is. Still TNA couldn't afford ol Sweatsock.

Some of these booking fees sound whack as f*** though. 1k for Davey Richards? 700 for Andrew Everett or Trevor Lee? 800 for EC3? I wonder how many of the TNA guys on here had the office set their fee Are you saying $800 is high for EC3?

I'm saying that for $800 I could rent a gorilla, put it in an airbrushed bodysuit with muscles, draw on some bacne, and have it do tricks for my amusement, have money left over, and feel infinitely more satisfied than I ever would watching an EC3 match
