Is this a question even worth asking?
Under Anthem they not have steady paychecks for the talent but the talent is leaving in mass as I assume they are cutting cost and a lot of wrestlers aren't feeling the move to Canda. Anthem can fund the product but their roster turnover and subsequent bullshit with Jarrett has not put them in a great light
Under Dixie, TNA/Impact was always under a constant death watch with talent not getting paid and towards the end of her reign all the bullshit Dixie did came to light. Hiring the Harris Bros to essentially scare the production crew into not asking for their mone is up there. Somehow she was able to keep a "loyal roster" probably more so out of convenience than anything but we all saw how she strung people along with Corgan being sort of the last straw
No matter the regime this company f***ing sucks

It's a difficult question to answer. I think despite the occasional TNA-style spouting of ridiculous grandeur Anthem seem to have accepted what the company actually has been for a long time, a broke indy, massively on its haunches.
So although things appear worse, I think this is just a dose of reality. Things have been headed on this trajectory for YEARS but in the past they had a money mark prepared to lose her (or at least her parent's) ass to make herself seem like a big deal. Now there is a resignation that if they want to do anything, they have to nuke it and start from scratch with a few big names.
If they just admitted that publicly (with a hefty dose of PR speak added) I think people would appreciate it. Of course Nordhelm seems to want to carry on the tradition of saying stupid things and spinning the unspinnable.

It has pretty much imploded and that started to happen before Anthem got ahold of it.
At this point, they might as well burn the thing to the ground and start over from scratch.

From a quality stand point (from what little I've seen)the shows themselves seem to at least make sense and have some consistency to them.
They stripped everything down to be closer to where they should've been to begin with in terms of budget, but like Aya said, they could just scrap the entire brand and start from the ground up again and probably end up with a better product.

Anthem just put a bow on a trash fire and at the very least, tried to put some of the flames out of the trash fire.
The fact of the matter is that even if they tried to make the shows more logical and structured things to make it, a trash fire is still a trash fire and when it's affecting the area and fields around it (LAW Radio, their sports news departments in general), then there must be a point where you leave it to burn and start again. But as long as Impact has a TV deal, some sucker's going to look at it and say "Well, the flames look nice at least..."

Wonder what the original plan with Jarrett in charge was. It sorta seems like he barely delivered half of the vision he sold those Anthem people and crashed & burned in the process himself. The whole move to Canada just screams of plan B in the case of everything going tits up with the original one.

Jeff only cared about conning Anthem for money just like his daddy conned the Carters. The Jarrett family is only good at one thing, finding and stealing from money marks.

If anything I'd say worse because under Dixie TNA was funny bad, these days it's largely just a pathetic mess.

If TNA were a deer, then Dixie hit it with her truck, while Anthem found it on the side of the road and decided to try taxidermying it despite most of it's parts being flattened or completely missing.
Neither one did the deer any favors.

Honestly, no.
It's amazing how we all rightfully wanted Dixie gone for ages, but since Anthem took over, the amount of major f*** ups have gone from yearly to "the entire company rebranded itself, then unrebranded itself when the owner of the rebrand got drunk and threw tacos at people. also everyone's left" in the span of months.

Well to be honest Anthem took over what was already a Dumpster fire. With Dixie she was owing money left and right to not just talent but Tax money. She also managed to get thrown off Two networks in a span of a year. The whole Billy Corgan deal that Anthem got stuck with that bill, Anthem was stupid enough to by into a money pit. Really all the company is worth is the video library because you will never make money off of it when nobody is showing up willing to pay a ticket for it. Dixie was seeing the same problem in a manager decline in fans showing up. Anthem just saw the decline continue. The amount of people that left is a lot but most where guys not even booked. Which I guess is better than leaving because they didn't get paid. The company needs to just die. There is no reset button to press that will make a difference under this name or any name when you are clearly just don't understand how wrestling works. Dixie same problem zero idea about wrestling. So really between Dixie and Ed, both equally clueless. Dixie created the turd and Ed tried to polish it but at the end, it's still a turd.

It was unwatchable before.
Now, it still kinda sucks, but at least it's watchable if I am really in the mood to watch wrestling on a Thursday.
