He may not have been memorable, entertaining, or interesting, but he certainly existed. So let’s discuss him!

He's no Serj Tankian. Actually, didn't Serg do some of the music themes? Some of those were good.

You ever need proof AJ Styles is easy to do business with, he was asked to let Dixie's non wrestler husband knock him out on TV and took the bump.
Poor AJ.
Anyhoo, 'Serj n Dale's Discount Borderline Illegal Soundalikes' were a key element of TNA's Bush Leagueyness for years. Not the same without them I'd imagine.

Yeah, it’s tough to call him a great composer when so many of the themes are sound alikes of WWE songs or mainstream songs. That said I did enjoy Christian’s TNA theme and some of his other work. Also, Jimmy Hart and Jim Johnston have done some similar things, but in their cases I think they produced enough good original material to still justify calling them great (American Males anybody?).

Pretty sure he's responsible for Winter's theme and if so I can't ever hate him.

Man it must suck that your claim to fame is that you're married to Dixie Carter.

I think Dale Oliver did everything and Serg is just a kept man. There's a definitely a case to be made for this. I don't recall him ever being mentioned as being part of the music department in the first few years of Panda being in control. He only started getting mentioned when the Dixie megapush started and she wanted the reality show. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that he was drawing a salary for doing very little and then had to be justifying that when the Carters got higher profiles so was presented as having been part of it.

To be fair, they just followed Jimmy Hart's example for that.

Also, Jimmy Hart and Jim Johnston have done some similar things, but in their cases I think they produced enough good original material to still justify calling them great (American Males anybody?). the trope for a while was called "the Jimmy Hart Version" of songs. So Jimmy's not really entirely off the hook for that. That said Jimmy was a legitimate musician before getting into wrestling.

Also Jimmy didn't write 17 different Man in a Box knockoffs for Dreamer (including 'Guy in a Crate' and that "Dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr" one)
