Or that they let franchises cornerstones slip by, they passed on Ben Roethsliberger, Russel Wilson, Derek Carr, and others then instead pick scrubs and junkies that are not even on the league anymore. I wouldn't even include Russ in that convo Well Wilson has fared better that Brandon Weeden and that's all I got to say about that...

The browns final opponent? The Steelers.
Pittsburgh needs a win to secure home field advantage during the playoffs. This is gonna be a bloodbath and probably the final nail in the coffin of the worst franchise in history.

But will the Steelers play down to their competition?!?!?!?! yeah they will, they'll still win anyway

I originally said “No,” because I thought someone would just give them a victory. But since they’re going against the Steelers, who need to win to get home field advantage, I have changed my answer.
This makes you wonder why the Browns even came back in 1999.

I used to like the Browns when I was a kid and they were a playoff contender, but ever since Art Modell moved the team and they came back as an expansion team I’m reasonably certain that Papa Shango and Rasta the Voodo Mon put a curse on them and then they built their stadium in an ancient Indian burial ground.

I don't get why the Steelers are resting all of these guys when home field is still possible. Sure the Jets should just get squashed but what if they don't?

Jimmy Haslam said that he would be patient and wouldn't blow everything up again. I think that since he owns the team there has been like three rebuilding processes. The problem is that by being patient he's stuck with the worst coach in the history of everything.

Look, I get that Hue was handed a team worse than if they picked 22 random guys from the stands, but you can't go 1-31 and keep your job, can you?
Just for reference, that's worse than John McKay's winning % in his first two years when he took over the former shittiest team ever in the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The Bucs were also an expansion team in their early years. The browns returned to Cleveland in 99 and still play like an expansion team. If I'm Josh Rosen or Darnold or Jackson or Mayfield why would I want to play for the worst coach in the history of the league?

I'm reading that Romeo Crennel somehow went 10-6 in 2007 with the Browns. That has to be some kind of typo. Of course, they went 4-12 the next year.

Crennel also gave the best press conference about the Browns re starting every two years. Haha even with his mediocre record Romeo is the best coach in the Browns history after the return to Cleveland in 99.

I'm hoping they change minds & give Bell a few reps Sunday so they don't rust up.
Besides, you don't want to enter the playoffs with a loss.

Since re-entering the league in 1999, the Browns are now 88-215. That's a winning percent of .290.
They've had two winning seasons (with one playoff appearance) and averaged less than five wins a year within the past eighteen years. There are fourteen ten-loss seasons in the books for the Browns this millennia alone.

Hue Jackson would need to go undefeated the next couple of years only for his record to be above .500 that's how pathetic it has gotten.
Hue also said that if he went 1-15 again he would jump on the lake, well maybe if he goes 0-16 he won't have to jump.
