Gentlemen we reached the legendary 0.1 rating. I didn't think it was possible. This could be the most embarrassing moment in this joke of a company. 0.1 It was nice of you to round up.

Seriously. Imagine 169,000 people still having nothing better to do in their lives than watch Impact. No family to see for the holidays, no changing the channel to Night Court reruns, no getting blitzed on bath salts in the Walmart. 62% of Impact's audience tuned in for a holiday clip show. I f***ing have to know what an average Impact viewer's life is like. i presume the 69,000 (nice) was actual genuine viewers. Then the other 100k was young children pressing random buttons on the remote at Thanksgiving get togethers landing on Pop and then leaving the room That's why I sent my son to his room that night without any dinner....the nerve of the little heathen to do that on a day of Thanks.

the fact that 169,000 people tuned in is unbelievable edit - i wasted my 5,000th post on TNA I'd love to see a state by state breakdown. I legitimately would consider betting the under at 100 for my state (Colorado). I've never heard anyone here talk about TNA or see their shirts around or anything. Then again I wouldn't blame them for not admitting to being fans.

Yea DISH usually settles fairly quick. Unlike Cable one who has went at least 7 years with no Viacom channels. It also blacked out the Cowboys Thanksgiving game in Dallas so I'd imagine the calls that night weren't the nicest for either side. DISH or Cableone blacked out the game? I don't watch football so had no idea a game got blacked out.

WOW, I know the holidays can be a stressful time for family and all which sadly may lead to some domestic strife, but that's just taking things too far. Even Bart Simpson or Eric Cartman wouldn't have stooped so low.

No worries. Thankfully out of the 3 people in my home I am the only one that watches any sports. And all I watch is a few ChiSox games each year and a few Canucks games. Never got into football or basketball.

I wrote this a year and a half ago, I updated some things (and removed my source link, as it's full of adware now), but kept most of my post intact. I think it's still relevant.
Out of curiosity, I checked to see what kind of ratings Paragon Pro was pulling when they were on Pop. According to Piledriver Wrestling (ratings info is borderline impossible to find, so I'll take what I can get), PPW had 41,500 viewers on August 22nd. Yes, Impact's rating is roughly 4.1 to 6.6 times bigger. But you have to keep in mind that:
Time Slot:
PPW: Saturday mornings at 6. Impact: Thursdays in prime time.
Network Support:
PPW: No advertising whatsoever. You needed to know it was there. Impact: While it didn't get a mega-push from Pop, there were ads.
Sponsors:
PPW: That goo that turns your campfire different colors... and no one else. It wasn't a part of the commercial break, it was the commercial break. Impact: More than than the psychedelic fire ooze people.
History:
PPW: A year old and connected to a promotion (WCWC from Portland) that isn't widely known. Impact: Fifteen years of television shows, pay-per-views and world tours. They also had some of the biggest names of all time on their roster, including Kurt Angle, Hulk Hogan and AJ Styles.
Current Stars/Known Names:
PPW: Matt Striker, Gangrel, Jesse Sorenson and freaking Wes Brisco. Impact: Bobby Lashley and Alberto El Patron. The former worked a Wrestlemania with the president, and the latter is a multi-time WWE champion.
TNA shouldn't even be in the same conversation as a promotion that is desperate enough to call Wes Brisco a main eventer. The fact that they, even with all of their comparative resources, are within reach of "six in the morning" numbers says everything.
