Regarding talents leaving Impact, it's believed that there will be several wrestlers that depart the company over the next month or so, including some main event talents. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that with James Storm recently leaving the company, the next two top talents who may be leaving when their contracts expire are Bobby Lashley and Ethan Carter III, who currently holds the Impact Grand Title on TV. wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2017/1205/634686/top-stars-possibly-leaving-impact-wrestling-soon/

I'd love both of these guys in ROH for completely different reasons.
Especially now that EC3 can take his character.

Lashley will probably go MMA full time, to get one good run there before he’s past his athletic peak.
EC3 will probably do alright on the Indy scene, no way will he pass Wellness though.
TNA is going to be bone broke on talent here shortly

If we're getting technical here, EC3 left the company 3 years ago.
He's still a good worker so it's not like he's lazy but dude hasn't given any kind of shit over social media in years.

EC3 gets clean then he gets another shot in WWE.
Bobby probably will, but I'd rather he just went off to MMA. I don't see the big improvement people mention since he left WWE.

Lashley was one of the last name guys they have aside from Johnny Impact and Alberto (and we all know how reliable he is). This could really be the death blow for them.

EC3 in either NXT or ROH in full on Dixie's Nephew mode would be tremendous. And dead serious don't throw anything at me... bring in Dixie in for an on-screen role as his manager at first havin her spout ludicrous BS about being successful and amazing and blah blah blah. The heat!
Lashley is awesome these days but I don't think WWE would get him right. Artistically at least, he might be better served going elsewhere.

Lashley seems to be gone for a while now so I see him going full time MMA
EC3 I can see going to ROH. I doubt he gets off the juice and I think taking that character to ROH to rebuild himself a bit can work

Abyss. Always Abyss. Eventually TNA will just by youtube videos of Abyss rolling around on tacks in his apartment. Not a match. Just him rolling around.

I understand brand loyalty but is it really sad that Abyss is really the last stable thing left I would say if Impact/TNA ever closed doors he would do the same shit Tommy Dreamer is doing but he may get jealous Tommy has that market covered

Whether he would have got the Undertaker match at Mania or not... he wouldn't have had to spend years tripping over into glass and fire and barbed wire and tacks every week to massively diminishing returns. And Impact would have probably treated him better if he washed out of WWE anyway...

Hearing shoots from Teddy Long and apparently Lashley isn't politically savvy enough to be in the wwe for long periods of time, that he wasn't that easy to work with, for example he got legit mad that the character crystal was marrying Teddy for a storyline. I also doubt the wwe would let him fight on the side, he's not the mma star Brock was. Regarding EC3 in Full Sail, he would be great either face or heel in nxt, problem is the wellness test machine would test positive for steroids even before he pisses on a cup.

Abandon ship mode continues. Give Abyss all the belts. A guy with the name Abyss should be representing TNA as the face of the company.

Lashley will go back WWE and if it happens soon enough, we'll get Lashley/Lesnar before 2019.
EC3 will probably work around like ROH and New Japan. He seems like the guy who likes his own schedule, but he'll eventually try NXT once more.

I'm as big of a Lashley skeptic as anyone, but the summer of 2014 before TNA moved to Destination America, Lashley finally lived up to his potential. His title run and matches against Hardy, Aries, Roode, etc. were absolutely tremendous. If he can get motivated like that again (and post-TNA motivation is a very real, incredible thing) I'd be interested in seeing the WWE machine behind him.

I want both guys in NXT but I'm not counting on either. EC3 needs a long detox & Lashley feels comfortable with his MMA career. Though, Walking Armageddon in WWE would be very cool.
