Guessing this is similar to Johnny in AAA...sign on for a certain ammount of dates but not an actual full time contract. Pretty much. Again, until otherwise proven by anyone or if changes can be made, TNA is literally another stop for most of these guys. Mundo goes there, does his time and makes money doing other shows around the country and Lucha Underground when it comes back. The TNA that can keep guys to do house show dates and the like is long gone. Yeah, I feel like as TNA slides further away and if these deals are commitments for dates and not anything including TNA getting control of booking or percentages of paydays--which the big stars are probably immune to as a way to get them in the door--then it's just another gig. TNA's transition away from being a proper top end promotion and just becoming a random indie with a TV deal comes with a lot of changes to how the bigger stars are coming in.
