See, I don't care that they changed the skin color and age. I'm pissed they got rid of that sweet stache! I'm guessing since they're much younger he's not old enough to even get a bad teen stache Wonder if they're going to keep the ages lower, or if this is going to have time skips eventually.

“THEY CHANGED THE SKIN COLOUR AND AGE OF A CHARACTER BARELY ANYONE REMEMBERS IN THE WIDER SHE-RA MYTHOS?! HOW DARE THEY?!” Just getting that out so nobody else has to say it. See, I don't care that they changed the skin color and age. I'm pissed they got rid of that sweet stache! ...you know what? Completely fair.

So what the deal with She-Ra outfit changing color/design? It seem like everytime a new picture comes out, her design is almost completely different.

Yeah... this is really strange... they seem to not have an actual design nailed down... This shot I think looks the best of all the She-ra shots I've seen though.

The early screenshots were more than likely from early designs before the final look.

The early screenshots were more than likely from early designs before the final look. I dunno one of them is from a magazine scan... and that looks different than that one. Also gotta give them props to the backgrounds they look really close to what you'd see in the Filmation series.

Have to echo an earlier poster...the pics of her as Adora look better somehow than when she is She-Ra.

A couple more images Honestly, she looks fine. She looks like a teenager. Second pic looks more like fan art... but cool. Already like this art style better than the ThunderCats one. Hopefully kids like it!

Here is my opinion.
As her alter-ego, She-Ra looks like a normal woman. But when she becomes She-Ra, she looks like a boy with long hair and it is not with the body, it is with the facial features that she so much looks like a boy.
If this is some tomboy thing, then fine...I guess. But if this is anything else, they really didn't do well on the animation. I'm not asking for her to look like a supermodel, but I am asking that she look more feminine than She-Ra looks, especially since she looks like a normal woman in her alter-ego phase.

It's Bow from the original series. “THEY CHANGED THE SKIN COLOUR AND AGE OF A CHARACTER BARELY ANYONE REMEMBERS IN THE WIDER SHE-RA MYTHOS?! HOW DARE THEY?!” Just getting that out so nobody else has to say it. I personally don't care about the changes either way, but Bow is hardly a character barely anyone remembers. Aside from Hordak, he's the lead male character from the She-Ra mythology.

Oh found out the first page's red pants image is a fan edit which is why the coloring looks all off btw.

From reading negative comments about these images, it's hard to tell whether actual children or middle-aged adults are complaining about this reboot?

You know, I think I know part of what's throwing a lot of people off.
She seems to be wearing a breastplate. Which is to say, an actual one, not "boob armor". I really didn't think anything of it, but I guess it's not A. not as common in entertainment, and B. it isn't immediately obvious to a lot of people this is probably metal and not a shirt, but given the shoulder armor, it makes sense. Attaching that to just a shirt would not be very functional.

That side view helps somewhat, but her face just really looks boyish to me. Now again, if she is a bit of a tomboy, I have no issue.

He represents an Etherean ethnic minority - redheads. He also is obviously a gay man living in a community surrounded by beautiful, voluptuous women. Making him anything else other than his original self is a step backwards for mankind, the Fright Zone and even Castle Greyskull itself!

The face of the new She-Ra looks very feminine to me. I can’t see any trace of tomboy in her, at least not yet. Is it the lack of lipstick this time that’s throwing people off?
